Do people buy from them? If TPCi didn't have such a shitty trade system people wouldnt have to rely of forum trades. But they do, so the big forum traders dictate the prices.

If they put in a trade history for all public trades on each card people would know what they are really worth, but for now all we can do is guess and hope some new player trades you cards for a low price.

You need some ways of pulling the early Honedge back like switch etc. You need more draw like octillery/Shaymin. If you're running the sizeable risk of running two three stage lines you could at least add some candies they can both use. You need Dimension valley.

Since my main account has been tradebanned I've been thinking about creating a new account.
Just two hours ago I finally did it and created a new account,played the tutorial and unlocked the basic green xy deck as fast as I could.
I then played like 5 theme matches won all of them and got a 375 token reward from the wheel
I bought the Greninja deck twice and am now sitting on this deck within 2 hours of playing the game.
While sure this would be trash on my main accounts elo I'm easily winning games with this down here.
Don't let anyone tell you that it takes too long to progress or whatever,
how fast you'll progress in this game is completely determined by how well you are doing. In theme everyone has equally bad chances.

How does Aegislash help set up Creep Show? If you're going to use Megaton which hits for 100 anyways, why not just attack a second time with Aegislash instead of setting up a whole second Stage 2 Pokemon to do the same thing on a gimmick? If you're banking on the 10 spread damage, why not run any of the more efficient options that can set Creep Show up instantly like Bats or Noivern?

How does Gengar help Painful Sword? He's only spreading one whole counter on the field at a time. Why not run one of the many other options that can put a lot of spread counters on board, which let you win the game in 3-4 turns given the right set up? Even optimally, Gengar into Aegislash would six full turns to sweep.

They're unrelated cards. Their attacks have no synergy and only barely help each other out. Gengar's main advantage is being able to steal quick KOs off very low damage, through Bats or something similar. Aegislash's advantage is being able to sweep a whole bench instantly given the right set up. One is a low-damage gimmick, one's a high-damage gimmick, literal opposites.

If people try to force the meme by running Barbaracle and their own Valleys, then the solution is as simple as teching 1-2 Delinquent in a deck that's known for its supporter consistency.
If Barbaracle came out in RS when people could still tech Ninetales, it might be usable. The combo is too slow for this format, though.

Being able to shuffle your discard into the deck virtually eliminated a lose condition and let players recycle all of their cards in a format that was already a grind game thanks to Seismitoad sitting at Tier 0. From the box opening videos, it seems that each pack has a fixed ratio of 7 regular Pokemon cards, 1 EX/BREAK, 1 Trainer, and 1 Energy. However the set itself has 26 EXs and 2 BREAKs so opening what you want will probably be a bit harder even with the fixed ratios.

The deck is extremely similar to M Mewtwo, a deck that's not even on the tier list. This includes having the same flaws, such as autolosing to Night March, Trevenant, and Toad.

The damage spread gimmick is kind of cute and might make the NM matchup slightly more tolerable, but it won't magically be better. Especially since it doesn't get the Pumpkaboo knockout off an Absol play.

Also viability has nothing to do with it, very few Standard cards are worth more than 1-3 packs, and those that are have a very good reason for it.

If you move fast they'll be worth more than 1.0.
The second the hype wears out, the pack will be worth the same as AO, BT, and the rest of the shit Standard packs. FC is an extremely low quality pack, the best cards in it by far are reprints, and virtually nothing in there is usable.

The power is hardly relevant for sniping. Pumpkaboo has 60 HP and Mew has 50. You'd have to evolve into 2 M Alakazams just to take 1 sniped prize, assuming they haven't attached a FFB to them. Your opponent isn't even going to bench Jolticks when they see you're playing M Alakazam. M Alakazam is much better at taking out big threats as opposed to small ones, despite what the power implies.
