You are aware that every game has something like that right?
Deoxys
Giratina
Rotom
Kyurem
etc.

What matters is that you can use every feature between the games and you can battle, trade, voice chat etc between ORAS and XY.
That is full compatibility unlike say GSC which only allowed trading between it and RBY.
