>Sun and Moon are Zygarde's continuation games. They're BW2, but instead of just being in the same generation, it does new shit like maybe new Pokemon. Maybe they take place in Southern Kalos. Maybe they'll have the same starters or star the same gym leaders or something. These features would make them less of an entirely new Gen 7 game, and more like a middling point between a remake and a new game, hence a coined term in Gen 6.5. But the major thing about this is because we don't know fuckall about the game even slightly, so we don't know the box, starters, compatibility, region, or anything. So the assumption that this is Gen 6.5 has as much basis as the assumption that Sun and Moon are Diamond and Pearl remakes with a new naming scheme and new Pokemon.

I ended both summaries criticizing both sides. Gen 6.5 supporters are deluded because it's a shot in the dark with no real basis due to no information. But it needed a lot more justification to the burden of proof.

Gen 7 needs a lot less convincing to prove as a thing. The only thing I really criticized was how Gen 7fags really like downplaying all the Zygarde stuff.
