Breeding is a game mechanic. I use that game mechanic. I've bred hundreds of good mons over the years, and hatched likely hundreds of thousands of eggs.

The thing is, my flavour of autism isn't the same as your flavour of autism. At this point in my life, I'm content to top up a few of my mons rather than restart entire game files. I'm content to fix the nature and stats of my recently SR'd Cressilia, after I-don't-know-how-many-thousand resets, because I'm not stupid enough to throw that away or let it rot in a box.

these with IVs just brings breeding to an autismal level of time spent. They exist because of the "le unique pokemon" shit but in reality the combination of abilities, natures, moves, genders already gives you plenty of uniqueness. They don't even account for diversity in battle since unlike EVs, you don't choose just keep them all at 31 except for some uncommon instances like hidden power (just shave off one or two IVs so it's basically the same shit) or gyroball/trick room
