Not that guy, but they're better designed than every other Gen 5 Legendary other than Genesect, and they're STILL pretty fucking bad. Gen V was horrible when it came to legendaries. I guess Meloetta is somewhat passable as well.

I'm no fan of the Incarnate formes either, but if it serves any defense to the designs, they're based off of Kamis, or Shinto nature spirits in Japanese. Given the basis of the originals look, you can atleast see why the designs are what they are.

Also, I'm the OP behind the "What do you think of these Gen 5 Pokemon" threads, and I have to ask, when I reach these guys, should I do a separate thread for Incarnate and Therian formes?

I just don't see why they couldn't have just had the therian forms (which aren't my favorite but aren't awful either) and not the incarnate or whatever. I understand what they're based on is part of it, but there's tons of pokemon based on things that don't look like them 100%.

Every legendary trio is related with the other trio members, yet they're not all glorified palette swaps of each other. Take Hoenn's weather trio as an example. You can tell they're linked because they all share the same eyes and they all have similar markings over their body. The genies are just lazy by comparison.

There are other legendary trios that look similar (like the lake trio), but no-one likes them either.
