I always loved both of the "steel covered regular pokemon" - scizor and steelix.

I don't like onix too much, but scyther has been my fave since gen I. It's my false swiper catching mon from X, turned him into m-scizor in oras too. I love that both my fave pokemon got megas, although I don't like the look of m-steelix too much

I also started Reborn some time ago dude, not even beated the first gym but this is my team.
Seems like is pretty easy to get a shiny in this game, in my first 10 wild encounters a shiny Meowth appeared, I purposely tried to get a shiny Noibat below a certain bridge because the encounter rate for Noibat should be something like 95% there (at first I just wanted a normal one for my team, but after analyzing, it was a perfect spot for this), I encountered a shiny one in less than 20 minutes.

One of the purposes of this run was to use pokes that I like the designs of, rather than type balance or stats. Think about replacing Jumpluff with Sunflora. Also, I was going to drop Furrett after the first few gyms, but it became a bro after taking out Bugsy's Scyther and Whitney's Miltank. I picket up a Natu to be my bird for this game, because I've never used Xatu before, but love it's design. Thinking about dropping if because it's level-up moves are garbage.

That Weepinbell will became a Victreebel once she hits level 40, just so I can cash in one decent move before I'll need to wait for a much thinner move pool.

Helioptile is one level away before I use a sun stone so I can get that Volt Switch.

I'm grinding the Milotic atm. It's a wall build because I was in need of it.

My team is kinda "done" missing one mon, which I'm not sure what to pic. I want a Weavel but I don't have X/Y or friends, so there's that.
Might switch out Braxien too, kinda cute and all, but not all that powerful. I might try a stally wish/toxic kinda deal with it eventually, saw someone doing that on youtube and looked like fun.

When I played Y on release I barely used any kalos mons for some reason, so I've tried using more this time around.

Currently at victory road, but I'm trying to complete the mountain pokedex before progressing. Central and coastal dexes are filled.

Playing through Platinum for the first time, trying to use mons I never use (such as fire starter). Truthfully I've wasted way too much time catching and leveling up new Pokemon but I'm so indecisive. I'm thinking about evolving eevee into Umbreon since I've never really used a dark mon in a play through.
