Remember this countdown Pokemon Elections thing?
http://www.pokemon-movie.jp/election/
They finally announced more details on it. Once the countdown ends April 16th, all the Pokemon running for the election will have been revealed, and you'll be able to vote for your favorite.
Unfortunately, to send in a vote you need a voting card that you can only get by purchasing Pokemon shit for over 800 yen at participating stores, so it's not something anyone outside Japan can do.So there went our plans to back Porygon.
All voters also get to participate in a lottery where they can win exclusive shirts and shit featuring the specific Pokemon they voted for, which is pretty cool.
It's also pretty obvious they're going to use the end result of the vote for SOMETHING, though they haven't revealed what yet. Presumably the winner will be the distributed as the movie theater event, since they're running this through the movie website.

Fuck, I'm only in Japan until the 10th
>>25829005
You'd presumably need a Japanese home address so they'd know where to ship the prizes if you win, anyway
>Charizard
Nvm
Nothing else stands a chance
>>25829136
Mewtwo is there, and while I can't spot Lucario, it'll probably be added eventually too.
>>25829276
left middle
>>25829287
Oh, there. Thanks, anon.
Fuck, wish the Japanese would back Porygon. That would be great.
>>25829136
Kek. This is Japan. They don't give much of a shit about Charizard unlike the west.
>>25829422
I hope they back Jynx. That'd be hilarious.
>>25829527
>emerald wins first prize
>they still ignore all its features in oras
>>25829593
It wasn't Emerald that won, it was Fug. It was a poll to determine which of the 15 version mascots would get an event.
Part of me would attempt to vote, but knowing Japan, pokemon like Espeon or Golurk are probably not even going to make the top 100.
>>25829649
Specifically, it was an event where the poll winner got Victini's signature move.
If you ever got fugged by a Rayquaza using V-Create and wondered how the hell it had that move, this is why.
>>25829667
The Eeveelutions are crazy popular in Japan.
>>25829733
Really now, I thought they mainly gushed over Sylveon?
>>25829738
Do a google image search for I LOVE EIEVUI. It was the name of a massive marketing campaign for the entire line back in 2012/13 that led up to Sylveon's reveal.
>>25829738
>>25829771
Example.
>>25829771
>>25829781
Well i'd be damned, least that means i'll most likely be seeing one out of my two favorites in the top 100 then.
>>25828913
Does anybody even see Pikachu? I see Raichu, but not Pika (unless I'm just not looking hard enough)
>>25828913
That charizard face kek
>>25829830
They're still adding Pokemon to it, there's only 494 there so far.
Pikachu will probably be the final one they add.
The official Pokemon Movie Twitter account has also made updates when they added specific, key Pokemon.
Here's from when they added Mewtwo as the 150th
>>25829876
And here's when they hit the 243 mark and added the gen 5 cover legendaries.
> My favourite Pokemon has no chance
>>25829979
What is your favorite pokemon anon?
>yfw Fug wins again
>>25830027
>Fug wins
>they remake Emeraldfug
>>25829527
Still ranked out Venasaur and Blastoise by a lot
>>25829527
>Pikachu THAT high
>>25830332
Remember, normies love playing Pokemon as much as everyone else.
>>25830150
I'd love that honestly
>>25830011
It isn't a normie.
Someone cares to explain what is this all about?
>>25829781
What does the Keion say?
>>25830913
Literally says in the OP
>>25830985
"Only one per customer" or something. It's from a toy fair with relatively limited numbers of each piece of merch
>>25831318
Ah, thought it was 'no touching' which would be rather lewd if a keion said that
>>25828913
>that Natu on top of Diglett
cute
