So I've finally transferrred all my gen 3-5 pokemons up

breeding in AS is more convenient for competative breeding because the IV checker is right there, but if your just hatching mons and banking them, it doesn't really matter which you do it in.

if you have the oval charm, or are close to it one of those games choose that one, that made a difference when I was chainhatching a lot of eggs.

i'm working on mine right now and fuck it feels like it's taking forever. i only have about 160 to go though. keep pushing and eventually you'll find a steady pace you can work at and it will become less overwhelming.

i know there are a lot of retards on the gts but you can get everything you need from there. i'm surprised how valuable ha pokemon are; every time i put one up it's gone in 30 minutes to an hour.

i occasionally get shiny pokemon from wt and i just throw those back into the gts. i put up a shiny 6iv teddiursa i got from wt for a ho-oh and got it immediately. people love shinies even when they look fake. i admit i even had a hard time letting it go.

I wondered about wondertrade. I did it a bit before bank was released. I didn't know if it would actually help or if it was too random. I know that at this point I will definitely be missing a xerneas, so maybe I'll use the GTS for that, with one of my extra legendary duplicates.

Buy all four Gen 6 games. Then you can catch everything pretty easily

Be sure to begin assembling a living Pokedex afterwards. It will save you so much trouble going forward.

wt only seems helpful if you do a lot of trades at once. i only bother with wt now after i'm done breeding a batch of ha sableye or farming toxicroak at the pokemon safari. i don't like leveling up pokemon so it's the next best thing i can do while i wait for a gts trade to go through.

I know that feel. When i needed the "trade" evolutions to fill my dex i started to offer the mons i got with their respective item and used the GTS to get all of them.

Now, after some weeks of catching, breeding and trading the only pokemon i need are Volcanion, Shaymin and Meloetta. December cant come soon, sadly.
