Hoennbabbies and onwards,
Do you feel empty knowing that you never got to experience Pokemania?

Are you suicidal?

O wow how wrong he was about this being just a craze haha
Hoennbaby. In my a after-school program, Pokèmon was still pretty big: cards, games, toys, etc. At this time, Pokèmon still took up at least half of an aisle in stores, and toys/books were popular at book fairs. At least I got to catch the end of it.
>Are you suicidal?
Yes, but Pokèmon really helps me not think about that.

But I did get to experience Pokemania. With that said, I still like Gen 3 the most. Gen 1 just feels outdated and unplayable nowadays, and none of the Pokémon from that gen interest me.
Pokémon Emerald was my first Pokémon Game in 2007 when I turned 10, but I did experience the Pokémania, just without the games.
I had a ton of Pokémon toys and Pokémon themed stuff like clothes and posters and shit.
My parents have told me that the Pokémon anime was the first cartoon I ever watched.
Pic related. I have this Pikachu Tamagotchi (It's missing the Start and Select buttons but I got it like this) and these Pokéballs made to carry Tazos or Pogs.

So? I was still all over that shit and I enjoyed it. I wish I had friends to share that with, though.13 years later, still no friends

Pokemania isn't referring to the phase we all went through as kids. It's referring to the time when it was a cultural phenomenon.

I KNOW, Jesus. I'm saying that was the period of time where Pokémon was everywhere, I just didn't know any kids who also liked it.
