Also why does Pokemon, of all franchises with fictional creatures, come under the most criticism of this kind of thing? Is it because we actually use these creatures? Is it because it very long running and popular? Do people actually care about 2 or 3 Pokemon each gen they probably were never going to use anyway? For this kind of people there is three gen I pokemon: Charizard, Pikachu and Mewtwo and the next 5 gens only have two pokemon Garbodor and Vanilluxe.
