It looks exactly the way it's supposed to. It's a deformed incomplete abomination shell of an ancient powerful dragon. It's lopsided and ungainly, its wing things are broken and uneven, and it's perfect because of it.

It gives you just enough of a hint as to what it might have once been while still balancing between menacing and pitiable.

The weird part is that despite just being the OD's corpse, something seems to have still come from space.

Nah, it's more likely that the Original Dragon was an alien and Kyurem just went back to the impact site. There are tons of spacemons there, and its stated that Dragonspiral Tower is made of the same sorts of material that was found in Giant Chasm, so that's probably where most of Kyurem's meteor went.
