Best I can think of is "digital" could be linked to a type of Pokemon you can obtain through a kind of fossil revival type of process using data instead. Could shoehorn Porygon and maybe Rotom into it.

Your type makes no sense. Sound travels faster through both water and solids, steel included. Air is the least optimal way to transmit sound due to the particles being spread out more. It seems like it doesn't travel well in water because it requires more energy.

Sound still feels like the only logical next type they could make then again Fairy was made first so who fucking knows anymore

I can only think of "derived" ones, like:

got more? I was thinking they could be like hidden attributes instead of actual types, and only some pokèmon could have access to it (some Trevenant might have the wood attribute, but no Bulbasaur for example). Might be a fun addition to battles

Honestly, after Fairy there isn't really any more types that could be made. Plus, we have enough.

If absolutly have too I suppose there could be some kind of Cosmic type since so many pokemon have a connection to the stars and alien life forms.

Typing's I have come up with in the past are:

Bestial - like big beasts this could re-type many pokemon, and this is like the dragon type for big beasts like a big bear or a saber-tooth tiger, etc...

Magnetic - this is kind of like a hybrid between electric and metal types... so maybe not but still an interesting idea

Crystalline - This is like rock in a way I know, but crystals are different from rocks.. This type could have the companion type of sound b/c crystals vibrate when sound is applied. - This type could include gems as well like diamonds and rubies etc..

If it breaks concentration, it should be SE against Fighting type, so it can be an easy resourse for other types, for example, Magnetone, Exploud, and whatnot.
