If you have XY, you can use the Battle Institute. It automatically set all your Pokemon to level 50 so you can check their IVs using a calculator and then forfeit/shut off your 3DS

Made a thread about this but it's ignored and about to get deleted. Might be better if I just put it here.

I've always wondered why doesn't Toxic turn into the standard status ailment of Poison types.

When you are regular poisoned, it's almost beneficial to you, since you can't get paralyzed or put to sleep unless self-inflicted. The damage won't increase, and some pokes with Guts, Quick Feet or Marvel Scale get stronger. Requiring 2 levels of Toxic Spikes makes you setup fodder since steel and poison types can just absorb that shit. Or rapid spinners and defoggers can just throw that shit out. On top of that, almost any poke can learn Toxic anyways.

How do you make the regular poison ailment not be a useless piece of shit?

Suggestion: By making it cumulative via poison type moves. When a poke is poisoned, it gets worse and worse as long as you use more damaging poison-type moves. It encourages you to keep shitting on the wound you just laid on them. 1/16 non-increasing damage turns into 1/8 non-increasing damage after another poison sting, or acid, sludge wave , etc.

Thoughts or any other suggestions?
