What do you guys wish for in a Mega Porygon-Z?

Honestly I thought it progressed from Porygon being a loyal computer program. Then when it was a Porygon2 exhibiting behaviors outside it's programming it was testing its limits, breaking in to sentience, but still bound by it's original programming. Then when it gets a Dubious Disk it loses the shackles of it's original programming and becomes a true AI that exhibits emotions and the like.

Bodily mutilation is one small price to pay for freedom.

Then again, I'm not really a fan of MPZY actually being worse stat total. It basically sounds like a throwaway mon, especially considering it literally hurts itself upon switch-in and is weaker than the base version. Literally nobody would use it over the far, far better MPZX.

here are some Hypothetical Base stats for MPZ:
85/80/10/180/10/135
BST: 500
BST is lower than porygon z, though not by too much, and has frightening sweeper stats. Proxy would let it soak any status move upon switch, as well as one attack, the idea being that your switch in is free (ignoring sound moves and infiltrator) and it's a revenge killer that is very hard to retaliate against. With a little prediction you can also use recover to maintain it's subs on switch gimmick too, and even if it runs out of HP, you only need 1 HP to sweep fuckers, and when you're sweeping with 180/135 offensive stats, there's a lot of pokemon who can't handle you. Granted, I play singles and made it with singles format in mind, this would be significantly less effective in doubles.

Looking over the numbers now I kinda agree that BST degrading overall might have been a little much, and he could safely keep those extra 35 points to distribute. An additional 100 would be fucking ridiculous though.

Also, Porygon 2 has always been bulkier than Porygon Z (85/90/95 vs. 85/70/75) eviolite just accentuated the difference.

I could see Porygon-Z being developed by a disgruntled Japanese white-collar programmer who is sick of his grueling existence of twelve-hour work days comprised of vomiting on the subway and losing promotion opportunities to American weeaboo interns.

He loses his mind one day and creates the beast as an "assistant" to help take over the office and reclaim his dreams with no survivors, but after he finally gazes on the pitiful Frankenstein being he has created, he only breaks into weeps of hysteria, which Porygon-Z interprets as some sort of melancholy feeling he can not fully comprehend; a reflection of his own insufficiency for his creator. It is not quite as immediately painful as the rigid agony it undergoes physically, but it poses a deeper suffering it can't really make heads or tails of. But it hurts to watch.

The worker can't take this anymore. He immediately laughs hysterically and finally proclaims "I don't really know" before leaping through his eleventh-floor window. Porygon-Z only has those brief moments after as the data basis for human emotion, but he doesn't like them. He won't bother to attempt decryption of the strange human language. He can't enjoy laughter because it only reminds him of incomprehensible hysteria. He lives in constant agony hoping that one of the fire blasts or beast claws set upon his frail, unnatural body might one day give him the quiet release which his creator found on that red and black pavement so many feet down. His only hopes come from a data-drive hypothesis of some higher power to allow it.

It's kind of weird that the dubious disc rarely has any clever hiding spots in the games it has been in. You'd think it'd be an easy item to play with appropriate settings for. Platinum had the right idea, putting it in the Galactic HQ, implying they intended to use it to explore the Distortion World. And in BW2 it's on the floor of the P2 lab where Dudley gives you the drives for Genesect. But DP and HS just had it lying around on the ground outside on random routes, and XY and ΩA just made it a generic bonus store item. You'd think they'd at least toss it onto the floor of any of the labs or team hideouts if they had no other ideas, its not like there isn't one in every region.
