What have you been playing recently, /vip/?
I for one just finished up Super Mario World for the first time. It was good! I only got 85 exits, but I beat the Star Road in it's entirety and I had a lot of fun doing it.
I don't buy new games very much anymore. I'm content with playing older games; been playing a lot of Warcraft 3 and emulating a lot of SNES JRPGs. I occasionally launch Steam just to play a few quick rounds of Left 4 Dead 2.

i just got fallout 4 recently and have been playing through it. its ok.
I've been playing Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. I know /v/ hates it but /v/ hates everything. I haven't played it in years and it brings me back to when I was a teenager.

The greatest Game ever made.

How is it for people who weren't big on the earlier 3D Zeldas?
Ori and the blind forest
Fantastic gameplay and the most beautiful game I have ever seen, audio as well as video.

FFXIV.
>The best Mario game doesn't even have Mario in its title
Explain this shit

I don't think I can stop, I hope the Pyro update is good or I'm gonna have a bad time
Really enjoying Rhythm Heaven Megamix on 3DS. It's probably the only game in the series you need to play.
Thimbleweed Park
I'm really enjoying it. I've got a few complaints, but overall the game is still pretty good.
Puyo Puyo Tetris. Finished up the story mode, now I'm working on getting all the cheevos.
Tip: if you're playing versus mode, always pick Puyo Puyo, especially if your opponent chooses Tetris. Junk Puyos mean much less than an additional line on a Tetris board does in a competition.
I got Breath of the Wild on release day but have been trying to beat Twilight Princess HD since before then and I *still* haven't finished it, so I havent gotten around to BotW yet either.
But to put it simply:
-Zelda: Twilight Princess HD
-Pokemon Y

I've played a bit of BotW and seen my brother play it too and it feels more accessible to people who aren't into the classic Zelda structure. It feels more like a Nintendo version of Skyrim. It's truly open world unlike the previous Zeldas, and there is no set way that you must do in order to advance. Apparently every boss is available from the get-go, and it's up to you to level up in order to beat them. According to people who have played most other Zelda games, this one is legitimately the best one since OoT.

I've been playing TF2 again recently, boy does matchmaker frustrate. And the cosmetics haven't gotten any better. I'll keep all the zany crap and the ugly hats, just give me a decently populated community server!
