Can /pol/ be removed already? It's just internet memes and shitposts and their culture keeps leaking into other boards. Keeping it for containment obviously doesn't work and other boards (like /b/) would even stand to benefit from these people moving to other boards permanently.

/pol/ is one of the most popular boards on the site (actually, it may be THE most popular) and as such brings in the most ad revenue. It'll never get deleted. Every board has at least a little bit of /pol/ culture in it (some more than others).
If seeing /pol/ memes and culture really stresses you out that much, why not just hide the incriminating posts and don't visit the board? Or, and here's a really crazy idea, why not just go to another website or do something productive?
>>55966
>and as such brings in the most ad revenue.
And is also the board that is most expensive to keep due to bandwidth usage.
>It'll never get deleted
It already got deleted once, so it's not that much of a stretch to think so.
>If seeing /pol/ memes and culture really stresses you out that much, why not just hide the incriminating posts and don't visit the board?
/pol/dditors are the ones that spam their shitty memes where they don't belong, why should I accomodate to their culture when they are the ones who don't when posting on other boards? Also, hiding post is just ignoring the problem, whatever it might be.
>Or, and here's a really crazy idea, why not just go to another website or do something productive?
Why don't you?

>It already got deleted once, so it's not that much of a stretch to think so.
That was /n/ and /new/, which were deleted because Nazism was against the rules on them and it overtook the board. /pol/ never had a rule against Nazism.
>/pol/dditors are the ones that spam their shitty memes where they don't belong, why should I accomodate to their culture when they are the ones who don't when posting on other boards? Also, hiding post is just ignoring the problem, whatever it might be.
Then report the post, and if it broke the rules, it will be taken care of. If it isn't taken care of, that means you're in the wrong.

>And is also the board that is most expensive to keep due to bandwidth usage.
If /pol/ was too expensive to keep up, it already would have been deleted.
>It already got deleted once
No it didn't.
>/pol/dditors are the ones that spam their shitty memes where they don't belong, why should I accomodate to their culture when they are the ones who don't when posting on other boards?
As said previously, every board has at least a little bit of /pol/ culture in it, whether it be fully right-leaning or just hating SJWs.
>Also, hiding post is just ignoring the problem, whatever it might be.
It's not a "problem" if it's just something you disagree with.
>Why don't you?
Because I like /pol/.
>>55962
/pol/ is just a bunch of filthy fat pathetic neets who think themselves to be """redpilled""". Just ignore them, most will commit suicide soon anyways.
And believe me, containment boards work. The only problem is that there needs to be stricter punishment for leaving quarantine and shitting up the other boards

/b/ is just bots and newfags these days

That's not /pol/-only culture, might as well say that other boards have /pol/ culture because they write in english. Other boards don't like SJWs because their attitude or the topics they talk about don't have anything to do with the topic of the boardand is the same reason many don't like /pol/ in the first place.
Even then, that doesn't mean that you can "discuss" politics on other boards just because other boards have those traits. /a/ doesn't like ess jay dubyas too but that doesn't mean it should get flooded with "hai gaise what's your fave anime and why did you vote trump" threads on every page. Same reason I don't make /c/ threads on /diy/.
>>55983
4chan doesn't need more money, it needs less users.

>ess jay dubyas
Wait a minute. Are you an SJW? I think I'm starting to get the bigger picture, here.
>>55991
Ok, whatever you say.

/pol/ represents the last, best hope of the human race AKA caucasians
Have EXTREME VETTING for all boards, weeding out the bad hombres coming over from /pol/. And ban the fuck out of them. Containment only works when we ENFORCE OUR BORDERS!
When /pol/ sends its posters over they aren't sending their best. They're sending people that have lots of problems (autism, projecting failures onto a global conspiracy), and they're bringing those problems with them. They're bringing MSPaint race comics. They're bringing off topic MAGA posting. They're thread rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.

>this is good because i said so
wah do things the way i want because i ahve the autisms!

frogposter return to your containment board
>>56032
Have you seen other boards lately? I don't even know which board is the frogposter containment board anymore.
