I bought mine because fuck having to fill out a captcha every time to post in stickies. Plus yes, I also wanted to post on /vip/. The best part is I know I'll have enough money to renew at the halfway mark

Originally because it was a good way to support the site. I got addicted to being able to post without captcha though. It's also nice to be able to use a VPN for false-flagging in /pol/.

$20/year is pretty cheap.

I have two passes, one because I felt like supporting the site and to bypass the captcha and the other because I won the banner contest with my /vip/ banner, which I use on my phone.

captcha. They made them bad enough that I had no choice. They jewed me pretty good, I guess. I don't mind supporting the site though.

I would not pay extra for access to a dead blue board, anyone that does is an idiot.

Look if I have a pass that should trump any IP ban until under my pass I do something wrong.

This. CAPTCHAs are annoying as fuck and $20 a year is a steal to bypass them. I'd gladly pay a nickel a day if it means not having to bother with repeating CAPTCHAs some of which don't even work half the time.

Because I go to BYU, and believe it or not, 4chan is blocked because BYU considers it pornography. That means I have to use a VPN to post. Problem is, 4chan has this IP address banned from posting (most likely because people use VPNs to post ban-worthy stuff). So the only real option I have is to buy an account to so that I can post from a VPN. Plus, I like 4chan and have no problems supporting them

I bought mine cause I literally couldn't post at all, my ISP was blocked, my 4G was blocked and I was tilted beyond belief.

I always surf on a non-logging VPN. It's like a condom for the internet, and it keeps Comcast from knowing about my trap fetish.

Before the nice google-style captchas there were these strange letter ones. I once tried 20 minutes to get it without success. It really ruined the experience as I was afraid of posting cause the captchas would be a pain

Before I bought a pass, I didn't really mind captchas all that much, but after buying one I started to realize how captchas really ruin the flow of the whole posting experience. Like what you're talking about for example, spending excessive amounts of time trying to solve captchas, it just takes the steam out of whatever you're doing. I didn't realize just how much better things were this way until I experienced it firsthand.
