Consider this: With no post timer, /vip/ could serve as a story time board.
So instead of dumping a manga on /a/ (or comic on /co/) and having it take you half an hour to dump a single chapter, you could just dump it on /vip/ in a minute and then link the thread in the /a/ thread.

You can throw any client side obfuscation right out of the window, so that leaves server side code that has to go over every post it tries to serve to check if the person requesting the information has a pass or not, and empties the pass spoiler if he doesn't. Frankly I'd rather not encourage that anyways. s4s is plenty good if you just want to do that. This board is slow enough that we might be able to have real GETS instead.
