Pass bans only apply if a post made with your pass is banned.

Why would logging in with a pass somehow negate an IP ban? That just means I could anon-post with one browser and pass-post with the other to dodge bans. Perma bans only apply to your pass IF your pass posted the banned content. It doesn't retroactively or progressively ban passes which are associated to that IP, or they'd kill every pass of every university student ever.
