If you could add ONE board, for any topic, to 4chan, what would it be and why?
>>47820
/sjw/ and /fur/ and anyone that posted in them would instantly get banned
>>47822
That's a good idea
/net/ - Internet Culture.
Keep Twitter screencap threads and internet drama in one place so it's not off-topic on other boards.
>>47843
I agree with /net/ or /www/ for Internet. It's the one medium that's not represented here and it's a glaring omission. We have boards for TV, music, books, and so on. Internet is its own thing and deserves its own board.
The problem I foresee is a lot of people shilling their blogs/youtube channels/etc.
/vn/ for visual novels. I think having a whole board for it would cause more people to take an interest and it would also mean conversations could last longer. You shouldn't have to worry about posting "hey is anyone reading (name of VN)" in the VN general on /vg/ and it slipping by unnoticed just because nobody in the current thread happened to be reading it.
>>47854
Not that I know anything about discussing VNs on 4chan, but surely /jp/ would be your best bet?
>>47856
/jp/ is also too fast-moving. a /vn/ board would be nice and slow and a single thread might last a few months.
>>47843
>add what amounts to a /facebook/ or /twitter/ board
If that ever happens I'll personally blow myself up and take the 4chan servers with me.
>>47836
It's a horrible idea, you'd get people giving terrible advice that would kill people which would get 4chan in trouble, and you'd also have people shilling either their own products or new-age holistic stuff
>>47865
Also the few threads that don't kill people will be dedicated about how non white genetics are inferior
Also may as well make /fit/ - Health & Fitness. Being healthy is part of being fit. Might spice up the variety of the board a bit too.
>>47820
/earth/ - earth sciences
>geography
>weather
>space
a super /h/ for all the lolis, traps, furfags and other degenerates
do this g00t, make /b/ usable again
>>47843
Yes. YouTube/Twitch personality discussion. Maybe even original web-series.
>>47923
>a super /h/
you mean /d/?
>>47923
>furfags
/trash/ exists
Generic Traditional Games - /gtg/
/tg/ mostly is for TCG, roleplaying games and WH40K. As far as I've seen, any threads about more "generic" games, such as chess and card games played with standard 52 card deck die really quickly. One exception was when go was in the news and there was a general up about it for a few months.
I don't really go on /tg/ anymore so things may have changed.
I think that it would be cool to implement a system that allowed the OP to implement things like dice, custom pieces and decks that could be moved within a certain area, sort of like /i/'s drawing program, although it would probably hit a large number of bugs at first.
This would allow people not only to discuss the games they are talking about, but to invent new ones and test them out in the thread.
>>47867
I think there was an image with a few boards with body counts on them. Anyone have it?
/pw/
A pro wrestling board. It'd please literally everyone.
>>47863
You don't think it'd be interesting to laugh at the garbage fire that is the rest of the internet? Whenever there's big internet news like Facebook buying Oculus, for example, or Twitter being in financial trouble, it'd be neat to have a forum for discussing that other than just fucking /g/ where it doesn't belong.
>>47923
Most of the porn that's ruining /b/ isn't 2D. They need to do a blanket ban on generic porn threads in /b/ and redirect them to /s/ or /hc/ or wherever else they belong.
>>48128
Couldn't we have a general on that topic here or to a less desirable outcome /b/ or /trash/?
>>48129
/hm/
>>48027
Pro wrestling is for fags
>>47820
/l/
>>48140
This
>>48140
I completely agree. /lgbt/ is full of men and MRAs and AGPs. We need our own board and they can be /gbt/.
I always thought /edu/ would be cool. Discussion for education and universities. Maybe flashbacks to High School.
>>48145
I can't tell if this is a joke
I'd add back the /vip/ textboard.
/fpf/ - frogposter free board
like memeless /b/ just to discuss non topiced stuff, but better than /r9k/ or whatever. it has to be blue too. and ban traps.
