Have you noticed all the 2012 clovers seem to be anime posters?
Anyways what are you watching this season /vip/ers?
JoJo, currently.
I'm pretty casual, I read more manga than I watch anime probably.
let's see
will watch whatever next post recommends

Boku No Pico
At this rate, just Digimon. There's fuck all on this season.
motherfucking Flip Flappers
i'm not an anime person, but i think cartoons are magic.
rick & morty, bojack horseman, south park, futurama, SPACE DANDY. i love these
i'm also pretty fond of regular show, aqua teen, and even american dad.
i tried watching Cowboy Bebob but i think my fake ADHD is too severe to appreciate the show. i gave the show 5 episodes before i turned it off. i don't know why i can't watch it..
i value a show that has a psychedelic vibe to it. so much. that's why i fuckin love space dandy. it astounds me that Bebop is more critically acclaimed than Dandy.
does anyone wanna tell me what anime to watch? i'll always give a show at least 3 episodes before i decide if i want to continue watching or not.

We've all already seen that. Gotta up your game on /vip/.

That has my attention too, but I'm most interested in Mahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikaku.
ive been watching drifters this season. reminded me of hellsing so i checked it out.
Keijo, Drifters, Hibike and Gi(a)rlish number.
This season is pretty underwhelming, not that I have a lot of spare time on my hands anyway.
Stardust Crusaders, Overlord, One Punch Man, Fate/Stay Night, ect.
Hate me if you want but all are dubs. I really can't get into subs because Japanese voices just sound weird to me.
Waiting for the rest of Stardust Crusaders and Overlord to get out, whenever that will be.
Also since it's October, I'm rewatching Hellsing Ultimate.
I haven't picked up anything this season yet, but there's still time.

No hatred here anon, you're just into battle shonens. That's fine. At least the stuff you're watching is good. Have you seen Hunter x Hunter?
>>35670
Because I hate you, anon.
I don't know if anyone in this thread remembers, but I made a thread on [vip] a couple weeks back asking how to get into anime as someone who knew next to nothing about it. I got some pretty good advice, which mostly boiled down to "just shut the fuck up and dive in."
So I signed up for Crunchyroll and FunimationNOW, and settled on FMA:B for my first foray into the medium.
Everything about it was absolutely fucking incredible. Like, Jesus Christ. I ended up watching all 64 episodes in a few days, and now it's basically all I think about. I'm pretty sure I want to replace my soul with it.
I finished Tokyo Ghoul last night, and am about halfway through Root A as my second series. It's alight. I kind of feel like I started with the absolute best in FMA:B, and it's all downhill from here. I'm sure it's not, I'll find something better, but that fact is hard for me to wrap my head around right now. I think I'll move onto Death Note next, apparently it's pretty great from what I've read.
I'm still trying to navigate the whole "culture" of anime though. There's just so much to learn and digest. I go to /a/ and I have no idea what I'm doing or what anyone is talking about. I want to stick with it though.
Pic related in a fucking weird way. I was typing this out, looked up, and this was the fucking banner at the top of the page.
There's nothing worth watching this season. Just the same recyclings of moe/shonen/sports/harem dreck.
>>38403
well if you're into that stuff, watch Death Note next.

>>38408
Yeah, I'm planning on it.
Here's what I've got on deck based on lurking, MAL recommendations, and just browsing through the streaming sites for things that catch my eye.
Is Sword Art Online even worth it? I've seen mixed things.
>>38416
nah, don't worry about SAO. you're taking the MAL recommendations a little too strongly from what it looks like to me. disregard Psycho Pass season 2. if you want to get on board with /a/'s taste, watch Madoka Magica.

Focus more on film (Miyazaki, Otomo, Kon). And order your shit in release order. Jumping across years will make shit harder to digest for a newcomer. And don't do shit like watching every single GitS media in a row. That's just... cantankerous. Fussy. You shouldn't think in terms of brands and franchises.

Should try railgun, or index instead of SAO. IMO they were more enjoyable if you like half SoL, half action.

>Hellsing Ultimate
How about Shuumatsu no Izeta?
>>38407
Not even Classicaloid, Fune o Amu or Shirobako?
