I worked for ten years, then I got laid off. I spent five months living in near isolation and it was incredible. I used to fear being alone, but I just want to shut away the world again and live in my bubble.

I don't know, the biggest problem is that time just goes by so fast. If your life is behind a screen - and I've spent plenty of it as so - it's hard to form meaningful memories and a sense of the passage of time.

I think that's more of a function of life in general; unless you're doing something amazing or interesting every day, they all just tend to blur together.
