I thought the difference was my ability to systematize and automate, but it turns out what my boss really wanted was someone who always showed up for his own shift and filled in as needed.

more like i'm having a tough time finding any work i would actually want to do slash finding the energy to actually work. worked at an ad agency for years and i hated it, now i'm constantly broke, moved back in with mom, and do calligraphy sometimes for whatever, and have a press with a friend that we barely print anything for.
being broke sucks.

I just got laid off after finishing my hours. Just 2 more years of apprenticeship and I get my red seal. Now I am gonna neet up the rest of the year until my next work term in January.
