From my experience, we're a mixture of nice, smug, and boring. We're smug because we ride the "nice guy" train so much we tend to think we're better than our US cousins, and we're boring because we don't want to break the visage of niceness by saying some offensive shit.

Even now I am being boring by telling you that you're all right in your own way. It's inescapable.
