Mitsuru's company designs weapons to fight shadows so make one and make a bunch of drones for it to control equipped with those weapons to fight shadows. Maybe they aren't persona users, except maybe the main one. I'm sure they could find one more if they really tried to.

Then, how about this. This may be stretching it somehow, but what if we give the drones personas. Since the main one controls all the drones, we could say that a part of it exists inside each one of these so they could each have a persona. Not sure how it'd work, but I'm sure you could do something like that.

Like I said, it may be a stretch, but think about the possibilities.So some shadows start fucking shit up, a few drones with a persona each go over and kill them, the shadow ops never have to lift a finger and can go on with their normal lives and are only needed if everything fails, like a last line of defense, but that wouldn't happen because the anti-shadow unti would be their greatest one to date.

Why would they rebel? Their soul purpose is to defeat Shadows. Think about Aigis and how her purpose in life at first was to do nothing but destroy shadows. Now, she did change it to be whatever she wanted it to be, but that's only because she was told to go out and socialize with humans. If you just kept them inside the television and told them "Your main purpose in life is to fight and destroy shadows" then that's all they'd do and they'd feel joy because they were fulfilling their purpose.

Hypothetically, let's say a hacker took over part of the system, The Shadows Ops could go in and fight/deactivate, because they should have a emergency shutdown like any system and figure out how they got control and fix it.

The Shadows Ops would be the literal last line of defense if the drones couldn't handle it or something happened.

So no matter what we'd be dealing with an infinite loop of either the shadow ops constantly fighting shadows or constantly fighting hackers.

To me, fighting the hackers would be an easier solution than fighting the shadows and the more you did it the less it would happen because if the hackers keep failing then they'd be discouraged.

I still feel it's a good idea and it would save a lot of bloodshed in the long run

P5 mechanics talk, I'm thinking that

It's probably something simple like that, maybe you can follow up with a melee on downed opponents for partial nuke damage or dizzy or something, but I seriously doubt something like P1's grid system is coming back.
