There were various Denuvo threads on /v/ for both of those releases. Then Denuvo got cracked again and people moved on because trying to get those companies to stop it was talking to a wall at that point.

Sonic Mania is a game made for the fans and suggested that Sega would take the time to actually listen to what people wanted, so SoE forcing an always-online version of DRM into the game's release despite protests from SoA caused people to be angry. But the game's not cracked yet. Once the game is cracked less people will throw a fit and by then SoE will have already walked back, given that they're passing the always-online as a mistake.
