Kintoki had to work together with Raikou and the other 4 Heavenly Kings to do it. Shuten is one of the 3 strongest demons in Japan, and in the end being an oni means that she does end up getting people killed, even if she usually just lazies around and drinks.
Raikou and the rest of the 4 Heavenly Kings disguised themselves and tricked Shuten into drinking a divine sake that poisoned Shuten, which gave Raikou the oppritunity to cut her head off. She survived still but ended up attacking Raikou's divine helmet and got killed for that.
For Kintoki it was his one regret since he still feels guilty over having killed the person he loved with underhanded methods like that, hence why his one wish is to bring Shuten back so he can be with her once more.
They aren't in an actual relationship, it's just that the two of them feel the same towards eachother, and are usually coupled that way in the story and everything (hence Ibaraki's dislike for Kintoki).

Robin Hood isn't bad but your best bet for steamrolling Gawain is Euryale + Waver + Suppoer Euryale. Euryale does extra damage against males, she has a Charm skill, a skill to increase her NP gauge and her NP can Charm as well. With two Euryales and a Waver Gawain won't even get the chance to act before he dies.

d'Eon is okay for his ability to tank. There's not many other 4*+ characters who can do that every well, so it's a solid niche. Martha is pretty average right now, and she'll slowly get surpassed by other, better Riders over time. Stheno is the true treasure of FGO and you should just feel blessed she decided to appear before you at all.
