It can have different gameplay but be mechanically the same, Darren was simply dismantling the argument drones make when they say "see they updated stuff now we have monsters!" when they simply reused the blueprint they created for Rome 2 elephants.

Like Darren said, the only new thing they really did is flying units, and those are janky as fuck (even vortex spells use artillery damage calculations, which is why a lot of the vortex spells cause damage in retarded ways).
