Fallout 4 has more weighty and enjoyable gunplay than the other two modern ones, but the story's pretty forced and, at times, fairly nonsensical. Locations and landmarks in the Commonwealth are even denser than the Capital Wasteland. Quests are pretty lacking, and the factions are decent at best. Companions are a big improvement, though, especially in their interactions.
>>
>>187483946
> Quests are pretty lacking
Not him obviously, but Fallout 4 probably has some of my favorite quests in any of the newer Fallout games.
>>
>>187483829
Fo4's story is, at the very best, controversial. In that there is disagreement on how shit it is and what does and doesn't work. This extends to the quests in general and quest design is fairly universally dogshit in that it takes no advatange whatsoever of the systems it has to work with.

Overall gameplay, outside of quest design failings like the lack of perk checks, is a massive improvement.
>>
>>187483829
Well 4 actually takes a lot of the strengths from NV like better companion quests and branching faction paths, so if you hated those things you are out of luck.
>>
>>187484013
^This.

Fallout 4 is basically New Vegas 2.0
>>
>>187483991
Which ones specifically? I certainly thought there were good ones, but at the same time, I felt there were fewer quests overall. Many were also pretty railroaded in terms of options, but that's mostly a fault of the voiced protagonist and the game as a whole.
>>
>>187483946
>>187484013
>companions are a big improvement, though, especially in their interactions.
I never bothered with companions in Fallout 3 or NV cause I enjoyed that isolated feeling.
>>
>>187484086
Good news for you then, there's a perk for exactly that playstyle.
>>
>>187484086
You can run alongside just Dogmeat then, or no one at all (Dogmeat was sort of intended as your Companion if you wanted to go full solo, with Perks even supporting it).

Even so, you're missing out a good chunk of the Companion commentary on locations and quests, plus their own personal quests and such. Not a big part, but it's enjoyable.
>>
>>187484086
Well, some characters like Nick and Danse offer some pretty interesting perspective to the overarching theme of the game. You don't have to keep them around forever, but I think skipping them altogether has you miss out on some cool narrative.
>>
>>187484069
Well I liked
-The Silver Shroud: Because talking as the Shroud was fun, and it was just neat to see Bethesda build on the comic book universe they started in Fallout 3 into something more

-Diamond City Blues: A quest that starts off helping a cuck get his wife back, that boils into a drug deal heist, that in turn boils over into a drug lab raid, that results in one of several different people putting a hit out on you.

-Confidence Man: Because I never thought we would see a quest about staging bar-fights and trying to get some nerd laid.

-Human Error: Was simply just a fun investigation quest, with numerous ways to get the needed infromation, and tied neatly into the overall setting of the game in regards to the synth conflict.

Just off the top of my head

There's more, and while I'll agree that it's not without a slew of faults, Fallout 4 definitely took a lot of the good from FNV and its mods and put it directly into the game.
>>

NV companions wouldn't suck your dick because you picked 50 locks, you had to hold their hand and walk them to certain trigger points.

Who at Bethesda things that's acceptable design anyway?
I thought after everyone made fun of them to the point that "Skyrim Dungeons" became a normalfag meme they would get the message.
>>
>>187485371
Maybe helping the railroad provided the biggest challenge for her, and Glory appealed to her sense of pride in attempting the difficult task.

Maybe Glory said she would kill Pam if she didn't help.

Maybe they had a long talk about what good and evil are and Glory convinced Pam that she should act against the institute, Edmund Burke style.

Maybe she proposed a theory that the institute would bring greater harm to the word and that her preservation protocols encouraged her to help the people intervening.
>>
>>187485435

Who at most RPG development studios thinks putting the treasure/mcguffin at the end of the dungeon is good game design?

Most of them DESU, which is why every RPg out there does it.

There would be no point in making the rest of the dungeon if it wasn't at the end of the dungeon.
>>

It's more the typical Bethesda song and dance surrounding said chest.

>please go to [Loading Door] and retrieve [Quest Token] for me, it's a matter of life and death!
>you'll probably find it in [Leveled Loot Container] at the end of [Loading Door] right next to a convenient shortcut to the entrance
>but beware, there are [Levelled List] of Bandits/Orks/Draugr/Raiders there!
>come back to me after you retrieved [Quest Token] and i'll amply reward you with [200 caps]
>>
>>187486112
Who said the dungeon has to be 100% linear?

Even dungeons with multiple paths have a chest at the end of each path usually mutually exclusive as well.

Even if its totally open, the main chest is almost always located as far away from the entrance as possible, aka, at the very back/end of the dungeon, behind a boss monster.

No, because enchantments like explosive apply to every single bullet/pellet. Meaning 10 explosive bullets out of an assault rifle deal 150 dmg on top of the normal damage, which outmatches Furious by far. Explosive also has a higher chance of crippling limbs on top of it.

This shit is ridicolously broken and the fact that Bethesda still hasn't patched it is a disgrace.

90% of them are just retextures with a crit multiplier or a mod that you can put on the standard version. Ratslayer for instance.

I just feel so happy using the handmade rifle, no gimmicks, no dumb meme parts aside from the shovel stock and paints, but otherwise it's just a normal assault rifle, chambered in its real caliber, that shoots straight and shoots good, it's just such a good feeling
also shouldn't mod authors take to using its animations instead of the smg so you don't phase magazines through the side of your rifles while force levitating them?

You are assuming there is a "main chest".

Morrowind had plenty of places with shitty loot at the "main chest", and plenty of locations with lots of cool treasure in different chests that weren't at the end of the dungeon.

Skyrim became so boring because you knew what to expect any time you entered a dungeon: a "master" chest located at the end of the dungeon with leveled loot that wasn't special in any way or form. ALWAYS conveniently place dead in the center at the back of the room in some sort of small altar.
>>
>>187494053
Morrowind was also pretty thoroughly trashed for its rather lack luster and poorly placed rewards.

I personally liked it. It gave me a reason to explore every dungeon, with the notable exception of Kwama Mines, as those usually had nothing at all.

I'm perfectly glad with exploring two caves and finding at the very least stuff that sells for gold, and then finding a third one with very cool loot. Skyrim, on the other hand, was literally pointless loot all across the board. Even Daedric Artifacts were pretty shit...

Requiem is what Skyrim should have been like. It exposed every flaw in the vanilla game by showing Bethesda how to do better, and how they could have done better (people complained about the Draugr Cave because, surprise surprise, it is a fucking stupid thing to do to send someone to a Draugr infested cave in their first quest when that's all you do afterwards in the game).

That's what I dislike about Skyrim.

For better or for worse, I remember every single New Vegas major dungeon. In Skyrim, I only really remember that big ass Dwemer ruin (Blackreach?) and the Valtheim Towers possibly, because it's one of the first places you are asked to go to, and it looks significantly different from the rest.

But like you said

>drauger den #235 or bandit cave #301 with no added gimmicks just wear on you

Skyrim truly could have been one of the greatest RPGs of all time, had Bethesda even tried.

Morrowind showcased everything wrong with having pre-set loot in an open world RPG.

On one hand, since the developers couldn't really know where you were going to go after you got off the ship, most dungeons across the map have to be set to low levels to give the player places to level up early-game. This in turn made exploration of the vast majority of the game's dungeons pointless after about level 10, because nothing in them would be worthwhile to you.

On the other hand, since all the best gear i nthe game was pre-placed, and available game start, Morrowind did nothing but encourage people to go online, look up where the best items in the game were, and how to cheat yourself around the monsters guarding them. This in turn also made explroation even more worthless becuase you never had to explore to find the best items, you could just run over and get them at game start, and never have to do any more dungeoneering ever again since you already had the best items in the game.

Pre-placed loot in an open world RPG is one of the singular most idiotic items ever convinced. The entire idea of pre-placed loot only really works in more linear games like Bladur's Gate, or Pillars of Eternity, where you can basically gate access to later parts of the game since it's all inear.

Oblivion tried to fix this with its early attempt at level scaling, though it failed with the ever infamous "every bandit has daedric armor" problems.

Skyrim did it much better. Now dungeons are always leveld to you, which means you never run into the problem of them beingfar too underleveled, and it forces player to actually have to play the game, and level their character, before the better items like Daedric weapons/armor will start even having a chance to drop.

Fixing the two major problems Morrowind had

No, it works perfectly fine when the pre-placed loot is gated behind a pre-placed challenge that is according to the reward.

Leveling the entire world just removes the point of playing entirely.
You'll do the exact same damage against bandits at lvll 1 as you'll do at level 100 because everything just scales with you.

Not him, but to be fair, Skyrim did do it much better. It's still got the balance completely fucked, but a balance between pre-placed enemies/items and scaling is better than zero scaling / full scaling. Oblivion was the worst offender with enemies ending up being the worst kind of sponges.

Skyrim may have fucked it up, but it's moving in the right direction. They tried to refine it even more with Fallout 4 which is better, but still needs work. Slowly, but surely. I hope.

That's why I said MAJOR dungeons.

The two REPCONN buildings, the Sunset Sarsaparilla Headquarters, the different Vaults, the minor and major locations, and so on.

Skyrim had many, many more locations to explore, yet I can't remember any of them (not to mention their names). All I remember from Skyrim are the landscapes, broadly speaking: the icy cold tundras from the north, the swamps northwest of Riften, the autumn forests near Riften, the heavily forested areas around Falkreath, the landscape around the Forsworn areas, the rocky mountains close to that city to the very west...

>>187495138

I have to quote this once more now that I can write more stuff.

>Skyrim did it much better. Now dungeons are always leveld to you, which means you never run into the problem of them beingfar too underleveled

How is this a good thing, god dammit? The point of RPGs is to GET BETTER. That is thrown completely out of the window if you are NEVER "too underleveled" to get better.

It doesn't force the player to "play the game", it allows him to steamroll the game in its entirety. The leveled system doesn't make sense logically speaking, and it's simply terrible from a gameplay point of view.

Your complaints about pre-placed loot are literally "players will cheat". This can be easily, EASILY solved by making that pre-placed loot rotate among a handful of locations constantly, so that every new game will always be a new experience and encourages you to go through every single location once again.

Skyrim encourages nothing at all because the only "worthwile" loot you get through Daedric quests.
>>
>>187496334
>No, it works perfectly fine when the pre-placed loot is gated behind a pre-placed challenge that is according to the reward.
There is no such thing as a challenge that matches the reward because players are far smarter then devs will ever be able to really grasp, and will find every cheap trick in the book to bypass the challenge to get the reward.

>You'll do the exact same damage against bandits at lvll 1 as you'll do at level 100 because everything just scales with you.

Its only satisfactory is your brain dead and like getting rewards 20+ levels lower then you most of the time because most of the game world is geared for lower level characters.

On the other hand, with level scaling, everything is always geared to your level, meaning you will always get somewhat useful gear.

You get better by fighting enemies at your level, being underleveld means nothing beyond

>No it isn't, because it means exploration past the early game is worthless, since everything is miles behind you.

This is a lie. In Morrowind, that may well be the case, but I repeat: MORROWIND. In Gothic, the opposite happened: you always had a reason to go wherever you wanted.

Morrowind failed because there was a very limited selection of enemies in the overworld, and only Daedric Ruins posed any difficulty, as well as the Grazelands.

>The many sites and guides dedicated to it prove otherwise.

How so?

>A well developed game wouldn't let you do it in the first place.

This is factually false. Nothing, I repeat, nothing stops the player from looking up stuff on the Internet. You really believe people who played Skyrim haven't looked up stuff from time to time?

>A game game wouldn't let you metagame in the first place.

If it is done properly, yes. Otherwise, it is the game holding the player's hand so heavily that it is no different than linearity. In an open world RPG.

>On the other hand, with level scaling, everything is always geared to your level, meaning you will always get somewhat useful gear.

This is false as well. Skyrim's gear is never "somewhat useful", because enemies scale with you as well. To be "somewhat useful" you should stomp your enemies, not be even with them at all times.

>Which is why so many people complained about it to the point they made up level scaling for Oblivion?

Don't blame me for what the casuals think. Casuals think Fallout was "too complex" so now we have a shooter instead of a proper RPG.

>You don't get better by fighting enemies stronger then you, enemies that are stronger then you are there for what you get stronger to get into that level locked zone.

Precisely. That's the ABC of progression.

If you are always able to handle what is thrown your way, there's no sense of progression. By definition there is no progression in a videogame that uses scaling for loot and enemies.

>Except you get objectively better loot 99% of the time compared to Morrowind since skyrim is actually leveled to you, instead of most locations being low level like Morrowind.

Have you played Morrowind? I hate to go down the "you didn't play game" route, but I honestly don't think you have played both vanilla Morrowind and vanilla Skyrim.

>You saying getting consistently at/high level gear is less rewarding then getting consistently low level gear?

This is the problem with your way of thinking: in Skyrim, you don't get consistently "high level gear". You get consistently "this gear is right for my level and my level only".

Getting Daedric gear doesn't feel special at all because you got it "just" at the right level, whereas in Morrowind you could be level 10 and find it for yourself, and it made a HUGE difference.

Sure there is, because, even with level scaling, there are monsters above, and below, your level to fight.

And you can very easily see how much easier it is to kill the enemies you were fighting before.

I know its a hip meme to try to treat every game with level scaling like it's Oblivion, but it isn't.

And the fact you have to outright lie in your argument to try to make your point seem valid, should be a clear indicator that it isn't.

The VAST majority of locations in Morrowind were terribly underleveled for anyone above levels 10-15, which meant most of the game was spent getting shit all for loot.

>You get consistently "this gear is right for my level and my level only".
Exactly.... which is good because when you are high level, you always get high level gear, instead of such as Morrowind where you almost always got low level gear since most of the world was scaled so low.

>Getting Daedric gear doesn't feel special at all because you got it "just" at the right level,
That's exactly what makes it feel special though, having to work through the game to get to the level for even a chance of it to spawn, instead of Morrowind where you can just go pick up a few pieces at level 1 since they are always there, making it not special at all.

There is no reward to daedric items in Morrowind, because they are always there, all the time, and you don't have to put much effort into getting them except like that one pauldron which you can only get by killing Daviath Fyr, or going itno some batshit nowhere place in Tribunal.

>Sure there is, because, even with level scaling, there are monsters above, and below, your level to fight.

And you can always kill them. Meaning that getting stronger makes no difference since you never feel like you are strong enough.

This level scaling is so ridiculous it continues on even after the last "layer" of enemies: they just keep leveling with you.

>And you can very easily see how much easier it is to kill the enemies you were fighting before.

Except you don't. In Requiem, I can literally kill enemies in one blow after I've done enough leveling. Not so in Skyrim.

>I know its a hip meme to try to treat every game with level scaling like it's Oblivion, but it isn't.

Oblivion was downright retarded, but Skyrim isn't good either. I don't know why you call me a liar.

>The VAST majority of locations in Morrowind were terribly underleveled for anyone above levels 10-15, which meant most of the game was spent getting shit all for loot.

>Exactly.... which is good because when you are high level, you always get high level gear, instead of such as Morrowind where you almost always got low level gear since most of the world was scaled so low.

Except in Skyrim once you have high level gear, what more high level gear do you actually need?

To draw a parallel with New Vegas: I have a Brush Gun. Legion attack squads come after me, with more Brush Guns, Thermic Lances, etc. Do you really think I go "AWESOME, MORE BRUSH GUNS"?

No, I don't. Same thing in Skyrim after finding the same Daedric weapons over and over again.

On the other hand, Morrowind? Finding Glass Equipment at a low level? That's true satisfaction.

Yes, it makes me feel very special to know that sooner or later I will get Daedric equipment based on an arbitrary design decision such as "what level is the player", as opposed to actually finding it on my own through exploration.

There's nothing more that I can say about it, all the arguments are right there, and we will have to accept you simply like doing whatever you want in the game and have Bethesda hand the rewards over to you, whereas I prefer to find cool stuff on my own without relying on walkthroughs.

Being able to kill everything means you never feel like you are strong enough? what? That is literally the exact opposite.

>In Requiem, I can literally kill enemies in one blow after I've done enough leveling. Not so in Skyrim.
What Skyrim are you playing? At level 81, I can one hit kill most every level 1-30 enemy in the game due to perks, powers, weapons, and smithing upgrades.

Are you one of those people who is just so bad at playing games that you find enemies in Fallout 4 to be bullet spgoney even at level 120+ or something?

>Oblivion was downright retarded, but Skyrim isn't good either.
Skyrim is great, it fixed all the problems Oblivion had, while also fixing all the problems Morrowind had.

>Sorry man, I don't know what to tell you. My experience was considerably differnet.
The only places with high level loot were places in the ghost fence, and a handful of daedric ruins in some other places.

>Except in Skyrim once you have high level gear, what more high level gear do you actually need?
by this logic, once you get the Daedric armor in Morrowind at level 1, what more high level gear do you need?!

Hell, this is how every games works
>once you get the best armor, you don't need better armor
The point is that Morrowind lets you get it at level 1, while in Skyrim you actually have to work for it.

In Morrowind, you can get Daedric armor every time, guaranteed. In Skyrim, even once you past level 48, the level Daedric gear starts spawning, it is 20 times less likely to spawn then other armor sets. It's entirely possible to go through a whole playthrough of Skyrim and never get a full set of Daedric armor.

That makes it far more special.

>On the other hand, Morrowind? Finding Glass Equipment at a low level?
Except you don't have to find anything, because its always there. There is nothing to be found because its all pre-placed!

At least in Skyrim I have to work for ebony to show up at all, making finding the first one actually feel like an accomplishment.

Your entire argument is things are special when you don't have to put any work into getting them, but aren't when you do.

Which is ass backwards unless your just a lazy fuck, which, I am honestly prone to believing you are.

That's pretty cool anon

Sometime before the year is out I'm gonna make some sort of Automatron pack. I kinda have an idea for an "Ultron" head that when installed on a robot, it passively increases your INT to like 25, and other bonuses.

And it will require something like 20 synth components and a lot of circuitry, basically an AI similar but stronger than PAM, and gives massive boosts for combat and experience.

Heh. Well I mean like PAM but smarter, using institute technology to increase its data. 20 synth components, circuitry, crystals (basically a solid chunk of quartz for its brain) and programmed with tons of military shit.

So when you deploy with it, it passively increases your INT by a TON, and gives you a +20% damage bonus when around it. The way I'm picturing it, basically imagine it telling you where the best parts to shoot a particular thing are during each encounter. No plans for world domination, just really gud at fightan -intelligently.

I remember Nippon Ichi Studios. They might be a little better now but for a while they were hideously bad at rehashing, never updating graphics, and pretty much every game plays the exact same and has a lust for grinding to level 99,999 (literally, and almost every game they make) to kill that 1 boss that doesn't give you anything useful.

The spritework was okay, but the actual 3D parts were SNES tier, and they kept doing this all the way into PS3 and I think also PS4.

Ohh boy here we go

1. Airborne FEV was de-canonized ages ago.

2. The Institute isn't using FEV to try to evolve humans anyways

3. The Institute actually did teleportation better then Big MT. Big MT.s teleportation systems requires a orbital satellite, and a large, clunky, hand held transportal ponder, and can only transport you to The sink, and then To the satellite. The Institute's requires one small room, and a small courser chip, and can teleport hundreds of miles away, and even into interiors, which Big MT's cannot.

4. Curie didn't beat then at anything, as The Institute never tried to develop a cure for all known disease. Not to mention, curie didn't even do it herself either, she just finished the world of several pre-war scientists that had programmed her with the instructions on how to finish it once they died. By this logic, Curie beat everyone from the NCR to Big MT, to the Enclave.

5. Shi by no means beat the Institute. The Institute developed the first true AI that didn't cannibalize itself, as well as perfected FEV, developed a better teleporter then Big MT, and developed plants that can grow many times larger in radiation.

6. The whole point about finding a cure for super mutants ignores that
A. The Institute's cure doesn't need a strain of the persons mutated DNA to work, making it actually viable as a cure unlike West-Tek's solution.
B. The Institute never officially worked on a cure, Virgil just made one in his spare time.
C. Saying it took them 210 years to make a cure ignores the fact the Institute isn't even 200 years old, hasn't had FEV for even that long, and none of them ever tried to make a cure in the first place

7. Its actually stated back in Fallout 1/2 that all true AIs destroyed themselves due to sensory deprivation from not being able to see, hear, or do other shit. While it's true AI was invented back then, The Institute never claimed they were the first to invent it. Though they are the first to create a stable AI

I think the whole human lego cloning procedure + digital-neural interfacing stuff the Institute has done is pretty advanced at least.

Man I really wish we could do more with synths as the director in post game. I'm not even talking about synth waifus, but they can make synth Brahmin, Gorillas, etc. If they want to make warrior synths why don't they fucking make synth Deathclaws.

Also at the rate the Institute is heading, maybe its future generations will stop caring about whatever plans they had before and just start doing something else, or decide to just start making synths for pleasure instead of as slaves for vague reasons.

>Being able to kill everything means you never feel like you are strong enough? what? That is literally the exact opposite.

But you literally kill everything in Skyrim with the notable exceptions of Giants and their Mammoths. Unsurprisingly those are the two most satisfying enemies to kill afterwards: they are the only ones that are a mix of level scaling and "placed" enemies.

>What Skyrim are you playing?

The Skyrim where you need to abuse smithing because enemies are natural bullet sponges. And yes, no matter how hard you try to deny it, Skyrim is like that: no human being can take the punishment Skyrim's bandits do.

>Skyrim is great, it fixed all the problems Oblivion had, while also fixing all the problems Morrowind had.

Not at all, because what you consider to be "problems" in Morrowind I consider to be "strengths".

>The only places with high level loot were places in the ghost fence, and a handful of daedric ruins in some other places.

Literally proven false 10 minutes into the game with Mentor's Ring.

>by this logic, once you get the Daedric armor in Morrowind at level 1, what more high level gear do you need?!

Precisely. You do not need more high level gear because you already need everything you need and it's going to last you a lifetime.

In Skyrim, once you get Daedric gear it isn't particularly awesome since it's standard equipment already.

>The point is that Morrowind lets you get it at level 1, while in Skyrim you actually have to work for it.

The point is that Morrowind lets you feel LIKE A GOD for having it. In Skyrim, you feel nothing since it's JUST RIGHT FOR YOUR LEVEL.

Tell me you are one of those guys who think FNV's writing is shit and you will make my day.

The *only* time I was legitimately challenged in Skyrim was my first random Dragon fight.

I almost made it through the entirety of Fallout 4 without dying to enemies more than a handful of times (usually to explosives), but the only time I got killed by something other than explosives was a Glowing one I ran into in the Glowing sea that was 30 or 40 levels higher than me. And even then, if I had a rocket launcher on me I would have blown all its limbs off and have a high level torso to just spam bullets at.

I play on normal though, because hard and very hard difficulties in Bethesda games is just masochism...speaking from Oblivion experience.

"Just use smithing YOU NOOB" doesn't change the fact that you need to use enchantments to bypass Skyrim's damage sponges.

DEF_UI / DEF_HUD
Mind you that it allows you to fully customize the UI, it isn't an instant "delete perk animations" button, so if your IQ is less than 50 I recommend against tinkering with it.

Git gud, or an alternative start mod, seriously why would you use immersive gameplay if you're not trying to RP something other than what Bethesda set up?

Me neither. And playing on NORMAL enemies are damage sponges. Even more so at harder difficulties.

I don't know why people camouflage bad game design with "git gud". This isn't Dark Souls.

I wonder how much worse the vanilla minigun is on max difficulty

I'm sure stealth Sniper builds are largely unaffected anyway. Would a legendary .50 rifle with max ninja and etc perks still be able to one-shot most enemies even in max difficulty?

Again, did you not take any perks or something?

Even on normal, without smithing, I can kill draguer deathoverlords in just 2-3 hits, and those are some of the most tanky enemies in the game.

If someones having trouble with an enemy in Skyrim they can just Fus them and hit them while they're getting up anway

There's tons of places where you can just Fus high level enemies off of towers / cliffs. Its basically the instant win weapon. Even FO4 has an Instant win weapon. The Fatman. They probably placed the Fatman in Fort Hagen for people that didn't want to fight Kellogg legitimately...I mean you need to unlock it, but its not really that hard.

And if you want to instant win even harder, the 2-shot version can be bought for like 10,000 caps, which isn't even that hard to amass in the game

Idk what changes were implemented between 3.6 and 4 to melee attacks, but they've always been something to fear and respect in IG, especially if you're wearing nothing but a skintight suit.

But you should still get at least 3-5 roach bites before dying if you didn't make a character with 1 END. And like other guy said use your gun, don't think about saving your bullets when you're staring down more than one enemy, be it roaches or super mutants.

Maybe 30% of females, not 90% at all. Sunny Smiles' voice actress is underrated, especially since normally you can't ever talk to Violet; she does a good job portraying a drug-addled dogfucking cannibal and somehow makes her sound cute as fuck.

It's a companion weapon mod, Veronica by default has a 10mm pistol despite the fact she has proficiency in energy weapons. Recharger Pistol works for her as it acts like a companion weapon with effectively infinite total ammo but is weak and has a cooldown so it's more balanced.

I understand the creation club on consoles, console players can't easily a mod manager or mods and go find mods for consoles but pc users doing that is just retarded.

Nexus is free to use, mod organizer or the nexus mod organizer are free to use and the mods are thankfully free. You just need 5 minutes and don't be clinically retarded.

Nice to know. Should the reduced version be compatible with texture mods?

DLC packs and content upgrades are smart because they offer enough content to get the player back into the game again. This is even a better idea for CC since active players means more chance of people buying CC content while it's being released. But none of the stuff offered so far looks like it would keep you busy for very long.... it's sad to say but I think the Vault-tech DLC probably had more for the player to do than this.

Let's face it - it's already too late because normie retards are going to gobble it all up like pelicans. Also like some anon already mentioned plebstation 4 retards were begging for mods for a long time now and now they got what they've asked for. I really don't though. The visibility for the CC seems pretty low for people who aren't fanatics, and most of those people are on PC. If you Google Fallout 4 CC you still just get console commands for a good page.

console players used to pretend like mods ruined the experience and they didn't want it, then they got it and couldn't get enough of it and went to nexus and BEGGED (more like insulted) mod creators there to port their shit. You know they have been ITCHING to pay money for more garbage mods.

So they say the armor is a quest mod, funny how people see things with different eyes. I would call an armor mod and armor mod. I would also call content that has been out for a year not original, but I guess your c00l quest mod will be out for SSE, can't wait. Will it be WOL or LTOM? Are all those esm files with the name SS3 part of that "SexoutSlavers3" set? Maybe as far as load order goes, should the "Core" esm be on top of that set? In any case there looks to be a shitload of overlapping mods for the slave angle, it's possible you have a lot of conflicts in your loadout, maybe take a few out, focus your priorities.

This might be a longshot, but if that SunnyCompanion.esp is the one from LL, try taking that out and use one of the standard plugin files (the original or "improved" version are both good). I had issues with the LL special version one at one point. Dialogue bugs in general are a nightmare, I don't know how the base games are even made the more I look into the guts of these games.

>>187530112
While your general diagnosis of the problem is spot on, Small(er)Talk just triggers NPCs/creatures to approach the PC and trigger a dialogue menu with them. You don't need it at all if you disregard the generic NPCs, or if another Sexout mod does a similar trigger anyway.

You're literally trying to make a claim, that means the onus is on you to defend yourself and your claim. Even if what you're saying is true, if you have zero proof or substantial evidence that Trainwiz is legitimately taking assets (point to where supposed Binding of Isaac music is, where assets are stolen and not credit or given permission for use), then you just look like a raving lunatic that everyone will ridicule.

ESL files are specially compressed .esms (well .esps technically but the game kind of treats them as masters), that can bypass the 255 mod limit.
That's... about it really. Normal esps can be turned into esls already, you can't write to them but otherwise you can use them without issue.

It's a new plugin format allowing you to go over the 255 limit. There's nothing sensitive or heinous about it. Since it's a new format it's a matter of course that the mod manager would not pick it up as it wasn't designed to handle it. Check the ingame mod manager and you'll see them just fine.

Stop being retarded and upload the mods.

The response has still been very negative, but it seems Bethesda is putting their foot down on this one. Especially working on the technicality that these are not mods but mini DLC. Because its a fucking stealth suit anon.

Wearing anything on top of it would ruin the whole "stealth" part of stealth suit.

Its like asking why Major Kusnagi from Ghost in the shell has to get basically naked, besides her ultra thin skin tight suit, for her stealth field to work.

That is how it works you twit.

It probably has, sometimes issues slip through.
Again, good thing this is a beta.
Whether or not they should be CHARGING for a beta is another issue though.

One piece of armor and it fails on the most basic level. I could maybe understand if one of the mods you can apply to it doesn't have the proper effect or something but when it's something as painfully fucking obvious as clipping then yeah, it's shitty QA.

It's an issue that shouldn't have slipped through because it should be one of the first things you look for.

You didn't even notice it until someone else showed you. Don't try to act like you somehow always saw it.

it happens but QA should catch it and you shouldn't charge 5 bucks for it, if one autist can pick it up from a screenshot then professinal modellers and quality assurers should be able to in any number of normal tests they should give it

On a player model that size, in a modern game you'd expect at least x4096. That's standard these days.
