I've gotten so sick of unchained x/union cross. There is so much power creep that unless you have a handful of specific metals you literally can't do shit because they keep making enemy levels higher. last year anything above level 100 was rare and 200 was the hard cap for whales to compete over. Now there's level 800 shit that after decreasing defense and increasing my strength and attribute strength and using 100% guilted medals and key arts everything does 1 damage. It's gotten so bad that I would only log on for daily jewels and login bonus since it's more sensible to just not play for a while then buy the deals when more power creeped medals are available. But they even fucked that up by making daily challenges have the event boards that make you need to redo the same fucking quest 20 times to fill out for the same number of jewels as before which would normally be obtained after doing it once. Fuck, there is nothing fun about it and they ruined the only bit of draw that was left - the daily free shit to gamble away. I only have the thing still installed because of the eventual need to go through the story and because my wife hasn't become completely sick of it yet.

When I first started playing KHUX, I had no idea duplicates were what you wanted and sold them or used them to level other medals. I forget how many of these and Cloud EXes I had, but I only kept one of each.

As long as you play the buffs right, you can still deal damage with them. Pic related is a 4-slot buff setup, with only the last two medals guilted. But the KA can still wipe out groups of lvl 700-800 enemies in one attack in the Coliseum.

Replicating this setup with one of the real [EX] medals (not even guilted) would probably push you right into the top 1,000 in rankings.
