If you want gold mods that you can solo grind for, the index has been good to me. If you have 3 friends that don't mind the challenge, you can go to the orokin derelict with dragon keys to get special mods and lastly secret rooms on Lua have rare mod drops.

If you want to farm relics, I would suggest either xini interception or a void survival from what I've learned since coming back.

Learn how to set yourself on fire ( read Ember passive ) and get Energy conversion from Simaris and it will hold up to sortie 1-2 , CP helps a lot

Get the Firequake augment and the flames will proc a knocdown that is much more reliable than the fire proc AND it allows you to use ground finishers on enemies , the CC will keep you alive on sorties as most enemies get knocked down as they are standing up from the previous knock down

If you have a riven that's worth using it's generally better than any possible mod that could fit in that slot therefore you don't lose anything by forma'ing the weapon so it can fit.

You must froma a weapon 100% of the time to use a riven mod because rivens require like 18-20 capacity.

but here's the catch: the weapon parts have riven-like special stats tied to the part itself, so that when you build the thing it has the special stats of all of the parts you used. also it has a skin that matches the house colors, like a harkonar kohm for instance would have the harkonar skin but also have the special stats of all of the parts, so if the stock has +dmg against jews, +magazine size and -reload speed, the barrel has +fire rate, +slash dmg and -a little dmg, and the other part has etc, the end result has all of those stats added as base stats. You can trade the parts too.
but you can only make them at the ostron weapon crafting can make them and also it costs javlok capacitors as a crafting component to make the thing or something like that. maybe a forma or two as well to make. and don't forget the kuva. like maybe a few thousand kuva. and maybe some ducats what the hell.

Is Chroma even worth using without Glaive to self damage? The procs really fuck him over and make glaives unviable.

What? The only mod you would even put on that reduces duration is Transient Fortitude, and its a measly 27.5%. If you still don't understand what's going on, look at the symbol next to the buffs. See that Corrupted icon? If your warframe gets the corrupted buff in Fissure missions, its like +200% power strength and range, or something like that.

question here.... Me, someone not fully acclimated in the maths of the game, curious and confused here, running two different builds here, with ONE difference, Condition overload or Vicious Frost, why is that the full on statuses do so much more damage here? the condit averages 600-900k, and sometimes over a mill, as the combo builds up while the ones with VF seems to constantly ping over 1.2- to 1.53 mil constantly. Is it all based on status chance here? Just need a better base weapon to better this? Or is condition overload not being used right?

Not enough info, did you do finisher dmg on both images?
Because CO will always do mere dmg IF you inflict statuses first, i.e after the enemy is bleeding, staggered, catching fire etc, and then you do the finisher, it'll always do more damage.

You must stack statuses on the enemy 1st, thats why a good stance and decent status are required to make CO really shine.
