I've been thinking of making a fantasy mod for magic, mythological creatures, and the like in EU4. Just two questions:

The entire foundation of the game is built upon the dichotomy between "silly events and fun stuff" and "this is actually historical and realistic bro". Because literally half of the map is pure guess work, and there are no ebin inheritsble kingdoms or strategy to be had, it's just francia, byzantium, abbasids, and then a million irrelevant niggers. In 1066 you have France, the HRE, Hungary, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, England, Scotland and more all with clesrly defined boundaries that are fun to marry into and make all of Europe related.
