I know they made an actual timeline, but it seems like they're just kinda throwing shit at the wall.

Like Dark Souls where they tried at first and then got scared and just started tacking things on rather than explaining.

Trying to link games together is mostly a useless endeavour, but the self-contained stories are nice. Personally I liked the larger story until Skyward Sword made it feel totally meaningless.

OoT said that any male Gerudo born would become king. Presumably this would be why Rhondson's mother really wanted Rhondson to marry Gerudo male. The idea that he brings his own queen in, kinda spoils any plans Riju might have of ruling into old age. Then again, maybe she would like retirement, and probably remains wealthy nobility to some extent.

I want to play beach volleyball with Riju

I just finished BoTW so I'll ramble for a bit.

I'm kinda mad the only thing the Divine Beasts did in the end is remove half of Calamity Ganon's healthbar. I was really digging the vibe, the boss room reminded me of Majora's one. Ganon's design was a weird choice, I didn't expect it to be so grotesque but it was very fitting. So yeah, freeing the Divine Beasts amputate half of a great fight, not that great of a design choice.

I'm conflicted about the last part, the one where Ganon is a huge boar. It certainly was easy, but my problem with it is that the fight was way too short. In the end you're only attacking him three times and it's over. I don't understand why the Divine Beasts don't attack him there, it would have made way more sense then. It also would have added more meat to the fight, even if it's in the form of a cutscene.

The music was spectacular though. I'm a sucker for leitmotifs/the main theme is integrated into the final boss theme. Hyrule Castle was great but I felt it needed keys/locked doors and more rune shenanigans to really feel like a final dungeon.

I haven't played this since April when I completed it. Haven't bothered with the first DLC yet, is there any news on the second DLC and a release date? Will there be any more content added in the future?

I'm getting really bad urges to want to replay this over again, disregarding the 200+ hours I've already put into it. I'd rather play with more content though and maybe play with different languages now that it's an option.

So tell me about Arbiter's Grounds. Was it a place that Hylians imprisoned, tortured and used Gerudo (loyal to Ganondorf) for blood sports or was it just a regular prison that happened to be in Gerudo lands.

It has drawings in it that depict the adult/downfall ending of OoT. From all indications, it takes a Ganon level person to rate being taken there to be judged by the sages.

So here's a question. The Gerudo are supposedly a trading capital but aside from accessories what are they selling you can't get anywhere else. The Goron have gems and ores. The Zora seem to sell their weapons to collectors and probably have their architecture and sculpture in high demand. The Rito seem to be Hyrule's entertainers. So what do the Gerudo do that makes them so wealthy and attracts all the traders

The top is the only way in or out, and the floor of the sanctum just happens to give under no less than Ganon's weight. Nothing down there is in ruins or dirty, as if it were prepared in advance by someone that knew what to expect.
