You get character-specific perks, and the teachables (which make them available to other characters) at specific levels. If I remember rightly you get the first level of those perks at 5, 10 and 15, and the teachables at 30, 35 and 40.

So recently I've taken to just sandbagging other survivors, instead of trying to play normally. I used to dick around with killers (DS, purps, etc), but that's gotten boring as of late. Running Bond and hunting down teammates is much more amusing, and quite honestly more difficult to achieve without dying.

I started doing it after I realized how low the sound distance is when survivors do something like jump a window or drop a pallet. So what i'll do is find someone with Bond, and make a bunch of noise near them that they won't hear, and run to them when the killer comes by. I've not yet managed to kill my entire team this way, so far my record is 2 confirmed kills in 1 match on people I've sandbagged and farmed.

The way I do it is I'll use a bat or wrench until I get a pocket knife. When I have a knife I'll use a machete. If I find an axe I'll usually swap for it regardless.

If I'm playing with friends who will knock me out of his grab then I won't wait for a knife. Basically I don't want to needlessly risk hitting Jason with a machete for him to not get stunned and then I end up dead and unable to help or distract him at all.

I hope they add some more damage weapons. Maybe a kitchen knife, saw, tent spike.
