Although I'm inclined to follow this example, there's no way you would keep any kind of decent rank if you destroy your KD by idling.
Your team will know that you are throwing and avoid kicking you. When people do that in games I play, I vote no and aim for getting the best k/d and the most mvps.

In situations where people won't kick you, it just means you get killed 20+ times by people, never making any kind of 'impact per round' and lose a tonne of elo.
