Not sure about the flag, but if you put down paths and then get rid of the path design the paths will turn into blank white squares because the design is gone

Once a flag design is locked in you can even throw away the flag design and not have it change.

You can only wear a pro design if its on you. If you remove it from your 10 or edit your character will unequip it.
You can make a pretty good path out of 9 designs. But if you can make another character you can REALLY go nuts with paths

It seems that it's true that a villager will talk about rumours when they're thinking of leaving.
Diana was telling me how awful rumours could be a few minutes ago, and now she's just told me she wants to leave.
And on the 19th! Wow, I dodged a bullet there. Just one more day not playing New Leaf and I'd have lost her.
And she's one of the few villagers I don't have the amiibo card for.

Ah, HHD makes creating deigns so much more convenient!
I can even freely change my hair colour and style exactly how I want it so I can better match whoever's outfit I'm designing, take a few photos at the clients house that best matches the design, and then go straight back to my original character in no time!
I just wish that I already had all the clothing options I have in NL, but I guess that just means I need to design more homes!

If a villager talks about rumours, it just means that all the villagers but them aren't thinking about moving, but they might not be as well. You have to check with another villager to make absolutely sure.

HHD houses can be upgraded to a maximum of 3 rooms, either all on the same floor or split between main/side/basement. The side room can be made up to 8x8 I believe, but the size of the basement and upstairs doesn't change from its default.

The fact that designing more homes would increase the amount of clothing and items etc. that I can use makes me hesitant to design the homes of villagers I love or buildings that I want to put some thought into, despite knowing that I can redesign them at any time.

One of the most annoying things about HHD is how slow the process of unlocking the catalog is.

You need to make shitty bare homes for 334 villagers before you have every single item. Depending on which ones you ask, you could get a decent amount of the stuff by the ~200 mark since a lot of them share item unlocks.

It's honestly the best, but most tedious method to get all the items.
I just go back and redesign stuff once I've got better furniture for it.
