Wasn't too bad, I kept two units back with autofire turned off until the first two had run out. (Which is why two units of archer have far more kills than the other pair, they were the ones doing the legwork for most of the battle.) The hawk riders helped out too.

Do wood elves the most disappointing grand campaign? I achieved victory before the doom tide even started and without researching half the tree, confederations the whole forest, or ever using elite units. I feel like the first 10-15 turns were more or less the same as the rest of the game. All ou need is glade guard and some eternal guard and a unit of missile cav to kite enemies into your trap. It got pretty boring very quickly.
