Yes, you need to be able to live long enough to cast radial blind, and you can't do that with base health/armor. Get instagibbed by enemies coming around corners enough as it is and there's not much else you could put in that mod slot, maybe narrow minded but that will fuck your blind range and further decrease your survivability.

When soloing, a 60% increase to your damage is just as good as a single 25% reduction to enemy armor. Pubbies don't ever have corrosive projection equipped and generally I don't take excal to organised high end stuff. Also too lazy to forma the aura slot on my excal.

Ancient Disruptors and everything they affect resist CC(and all warframe powers, but I hope you knew that). Everything under an Ancient Healer also has some minor CC resistance, especially to knockdowns and any proc, except the healer itself. They regularly appear together and can buff each other. I think that's the only thing you should do as Limbo in a group rescue. You could banish manually but doing it as above means you never have to be in the same dimension as bullets.

actually, once an enemy has no armor, the damage type interaction for that armor type simply vanishes (meaning your corrosive gun will do the most to an enemy with ferrite armor when it was the least armor possible but still has a yellow hp bar, and then suddenly lose its bonus at 0 when the hp bar turns red), but there are still enemies (like infested heavies and bosses) who take bonus from corrosive to their hp type

No matter what build I do, even with 250% power strength her spores do 1 damage vs heavy gunners at level 90 and I can't kill them.

On bullet hoses, you actually do get a pretty decent return on crit chance. I'd look for Dam/Multi/CC for Prisma, Dam/Multi/Status for Wraith. RoF is useful for bypassing the spool-up on any of them, but it's not as important as on Kohm, Supra and others.

Why does it seem that the shittier the pubs I join for sortie3, the better chances for Rivens I get. Every time Sortie3 takes 3x longer than it should because pubs bring elemental weapons to elemental sorties or shit like that, I end up with a Riven.

Akstiletto prime, atterax, galatine prime, maybe lex prime but I haven't tried it, I think lex depends entirely on headshot multiplier to do good damage. Pox is pretty decent. Staticor is pretty decent.

For primaries, you've got the tigris, which is an alright gun when built normally, and an insane gun when built with 100% status chance. This is kind of a bug / oversight by the devs however, 99.9% status chance means there is a 99.9% chance that at least one pellet out of the buckshot will causes a status proc, while going to 100% changes things, anything divided by 100% is still 100% or something like that, however it works it means suddenly every single pellet does a status proc, and applying that many statuses per blast will destroy anything. If they ever get around to fixing this it'll just go back to being a fun doom shotgun with really high base damage.

Opticor is one weapon where I prefer Vile Acceleration. Since Heavycal does almost nothing to the Opticor, the loss in damage is negligible to the increase in versatility. He's not wrong entirely. If someone else kills something, your weapon gets 25% of the affinity (assuming a full loadout). If he gets a kill with it, the weapon gets 50% of that affinity. If the sniper was his only weapon, then he'd be wrong, as it would be split 50/50 anyways. That being said, since he's using a sniper, he'd be MAYBE killing one enemy a second, and anyone else would be killing 5-10 per second, assuming some kind of AoE killing was being used.
