DoN: new horde leveling guild made out of players that didn't roll on elysium during launch, I don't know anything about it's members, but they are the alternative to MoH on elysium, who are alliance, no idea what their loot system will be, it's members actively shill for people to join them, nothing wrong with that.

SD: Guild that reached it's peak on nost, after that they became a discord clique, trying to join new servers and failing miserably, now they just shitpost and reroll from server to server, never raiding

Could i get some brief advice on leveling a warlock? Assuming affliction is the smartest/fastest way to go, but is that the best for random wpvp while leveling?
I don't mind leveling slower if i get to win 1v1s more often.
And I've found lots of info on endgame warlock pve, but for leveling dungeons I'm not entirely clear. Is it mainly dotting up maintarget and then sbolt'ing, repeat? I've only played a healer to max so far if that question sounds completely retarded.

So I did an experiment on the guilds I joined each one and their discord.

MoH was friendly and gave me a discord link when I joined. They asked what I was going to play and assigned that role to me in discord and had functional conversations.

Didn't even get to a conversation in DoN. Took me forever to join the guild that isn't even raiding. I felt like I might as well filled out a guild app to join. Even then I got booted from the discord because so many DoN officers are paranoid about spies. I guess they don't need members.

Tl;dr you're better off joining a normie guild since you'll be waste just as much time joining DoN as you would with a raiding guild.

Guild chat was mostly dead and the discord was teenagers arguing about something retarded and memeing. I'm not a big fan of discord chat rooms so mostly ignored it, no big deal.
But the guild wasn't friendly, no one had any interest in running shit, and i felt more faceless than if I had joined a big normie guild.
There was other annoying shit but I don't want to name and shame people and these generals get enough shitposting as it is. I feel like this thread is often (most of the time?) simply a dumping ground to smear people and that's not my intention.
I won't elaborate as it isn't that interesting anyhow, I moved on a long time ago. Maybe the guild is better now.
