Arc scaling +65? how does that differ from the flat rated gems?

>Arc scaling +65? how does that differ from the flat rated gems?
Arc scaling increases scaling.

Arc damage +x just adds x damage at the very end of all other calculations.

I have never seen Rom in the dungeons outside of Layer 3 of Lower Pthumeru, and I'm becoming increasingly certain by the day that this is just one long con against me that Rom exists in FRC.
>>
>>184073796
Booting up, I'll SRRC in
>>
>>184073775
Yeah the Arc scaling +65 gem. Cold Abyssals increase Arcane scaling, so it adds a % boost instead of Flat damage the Brainsucker gems offer.

Why not just look up a glyph?
I wasted my time killing rom for nourishing abyssals earlier today.

So inspite of being at S scaling it will still increase with those gems? Neat.
>>
>>184073964
Go to v5v5fpsd and you can see for yourself that Rom exists in FRCs.
>>
>>184074109
Yes.

The letter you see is representative of a hidden number, and has no limit.
>>
>>184074109
Letters are used as an estimation of scaling, S is already the highest so it doesn't change but scaling can still be increased.

Wow ok so I take it then insofar as tentacle slaps are concerned, T20 cold abyssal are the best gems? And the way you guys got them are though kkvk8gsj, 4irp2fsr, or camejqft?
>>
>>184073775
The Triangle is from Isz Ebrietas, the Radial is most likely an Isz Watcher OoS or a very lucky Arcane gem drop from Pthumeru Watchers.
>>
>>184074673
Don't be ashamed of your ID, it's neat.
>>
>>184074702
>T20 cold abyssal are the best gems?
Only one Cold Abyssal is necessary. Then you want a 27% and a whatever. Either a 24.8% from Ebrietas or if you're lucky an off-shape 27% from Watchers.
>>
>>184074673
yknow it never mattered to me, but for you sure
>>
>>184073818
Thanks Albatross and Hibiki. Greatly appreciated, you were fantastic
>>
>>184074752
Yeah, it's not XxX_M4R14-_-TH3-_-H3DG3H0GXxX tier
>>
>>184073775
The triangle gem is an Arcane Abyssal from Ebrietas, as you can see I have an OoS one of these in the first setup... I wouldn't recommend trying to get one yourself, I got very lucky. If you can't be bothered to farm Ebrietas for +15 flat arc secondary (it can be soul destroying) then try get a 27.2% Arcane triangle from Watchers instead (boring but not nearly as bad). I can't be bothered finding the glyph sorry, it shouldn't be too hard to find anyway.

My setups aren't great to aim for since they require ridiculous amounts of luck/grinding and OoS gems. I just posted them because you wanted to see ideal setups and both of those come very close.

If I were you I would go for the following setup (doesn't require any OoS gems).

>Radial - Whatever you can be bothered to get, Bone Ash Hunter gems are the 'best' but pretty tedious to grind for. I usually recommend 19.3% Nourishing gems from gargoyles as a super budget option.
>Triangle - Arcane Abyssal with +15 flat Arc, or 27.2% Arcane gem if you can't/don't want to get the +15 flat Arc secondary
>Radial - Cold Abyssal with ATK vs open foes

The Radial slots are the ones that can be further improved by grinding OoS gems. Ideally you replace the first radial slot with an OoS Arcane Abyssal, or 27.2% Arcane radial gem. The Cold Abyssal would also probably be marginally better with +15 flat Arc but would require you to get an OoS Cold Abyssal from Isz Elder since you can't get +15 flat Arc secondary in Loran.

Sorry for the wall of text. It's kinda hard to cover everything if you can't tell what gets are OoS just by looking at them. I'll try and answer any questions you have though.
>>
>>184074752
It isn't about shame, it's about not wanting your ID permanently displayed to the cesspool that is /bbg/
>>
>>184074702
It only needs one but since Radials that aren't Cold Abyssals are pretty rare drops you're most likely better off just sticking another in.

>>184076521
Yeah, keep in mind this character dates back a long time, pre-DLC days, people were still pushing 15-20 end (complete meme of course, it basically does nothing).
If I ever were to remake the build I'd probably put all that extra end to get my vit up to 50, I don't think a 50 in str would make too much of a difference
>>
>>184076425
My pleasure

>>184076920
>I don't think a 50 in str would make too much of a difference
That'd bring your sat. modifier up from .710 to .85. I guess, yeah, that's like 10% on most stuff. Kirk'd probably get a good 30 or 40 AR.
>>
>>184076862

Loran's got the best enemy variety IMO. Isz is my favorite aesthetically, but it's just brainsuckers and NPC hunters.

>>184078762
Yeah that's fair logic. I've considered capping my main scaling stat at 47 for .80x(4, I think) to use the extra 3 points for other stuff.

Going from 43 to 50 vit is very probably a better investment than 40 to 50 Str, but, maybe 44/47 would be a good compromise. I mean you could free up potentially 11 points from your End.

But, yeah, it's just theorycrafting.

Or better yet put those handful of extra points into arc to get it to 20, thus unlocking gloves, auger, and BSE.
Granted they wouldn't be very strong, but they'd be good utility tools for pvp to set up baits.

Which would leave about two extra points to round vit up to 45 so so we have nice clean numbers

nice detective work nonetheless anons.
my reasoning was this
I wanted to try out the items/spells,
and i occasionally like to finish off enemies safely with the pistol.
I leveled up skill because I read it increases visceral attack damage, and prior to that didn't know a whole lot about weapon scaling, but more points in arcane might have been a good move instead with the hunters axe.

Found another one of these weird gems during the spelunk. It's a shame I can't convert my gun, as retarded as it would be. The first one I found only had flat phys damage, so it's kinda neat to be able to get elemental damage on a gun, even though it's completely useless. It doesn't even show the fire effect when I shoot stuff.

Unlock while attacking, lock on to face him. Attack after dodging his attacks, iirc his right leg is the one that stomps so don't stick around it for too long. Someone asked in the last thread whether the Charred Hunter set was based on the Hunter Set or the Yharnam Hunter set. The description for the Hunter Set and the Charred Hunter Set both say "One of the staple articles of hunter attire, fashioned at the workshop." Presumably this was the Old Workshop, and the purge of Old Yharnam was what triggered Lawrence to set up the Church Hunters and put Ludwig rather than Gehrman in charge of the whole thing.

What I can't understand is where the Executioners fit in. The set description says "Later became that basis for all Church attire, with its heavy draping of Holy Shawl." This leaves scenarios:

1) The Executioners were contemporaneous with Gehrman's hunters. The attack on Cainhurst happened before the introduction of the Church Hunters, who then based their outfits on the Executioners.
2) The Executioners were formed under Ludwig, and the Church Hunters were introduced later- maybe when the Yharnam Hunters proved incapable of controlling the beasts?
3) The Church Hunters started with one outfit, and later changed to a second in honour of the Executioners.

>3) The Church Hunters started with one outfit, and later changed to a second in honour of the Executioners.

I think this might be it because in Research Hall, which is supposed to take in the past with the Healy Wheely Church being more powerful than they are at the start of the game, you have a Church assassin that's wearing the Yahar'gul black garb, which suggests that what is now considered "Yahar'gul garb" was what regular church hunters wore. And indeed, the Yahar'gul garb is categorized under "Church" garb in the inventory, lending further credence to this theory.

So maybe when the split between Healy Wheely Church and Mensis happened, Mensis stuck with the old garb either for distinction purposes or because the split happened before the executioner wear became the "standard wear" for Church Hunters.

Pre-Gazpacho Iosefka doesn't let you into the clinic ostensibly to protect her patients. But the thing is, she doesn't have any patients. You haven't seen any when you were exiting the clinic. If you use the glitch to get there, there are no patients there. When you get into the clinic from the Forbidden Woods, not only are there no patients, the only emissary is evidently Iosefka herself, which means that no patients were in the clinic when the impostor took over. Clearly she's lying and there must be another reason why you aren't allowed to enter. So what is up with that?

Hey /bbg/. Posting in here because /dsg/ is now nothing but a cesspool of players who didn't even start with II but maybe Scholar at best and say things like "who is Gough".

Quick question: correct me if I'm wrong, but as a phantom without miracles, the Sanctus is the only item in the entirety of DaS that -passively- regenerates your health, isn't it? There were numerous that stacked in DeS and DaS II had some similar. However, the only way I seem to know of to heal myself in DaS effectively if there's no time as a phantom is with a healing item (which of course there are only 4 of in that game, one I can't use as a host).

Effigy shield have any effect like that or is the FTH requirement just because it's one of the best shields in the game across the board?

Image unrelated. Answer appreciated.

>>184097380

>>
>>184097436
That's not my main argument. The main argument is that there's only a single emissary there.

That's a cool theory, but they're really fucking far from the poison cave, in a narrow dead end. I thought they were connected to Byrgenwerth, which is much closer, or to the Old Labyrinth, which is directly underneath them and where they can be found in the wild.

>>>184097426
no, there are no other items, that's why the host gets tons of flask uses and is supposed to heal you
>>
>>184097426
>the Sanctus is the only item in the entirety of DaS that -passively- regenerates your health, isn't it?

That is correct. There's a weapon called "Server" which restores health when you hit enemies with it but that's basically it for regen.

The lack of regen in DaS1 is due to Demon's Souls having fucking insane regen so they kinda went overboard in the opposite direction. I think DS3 achieved a good middle ground for this.

If you're a phantom your best bet is to grind humanities from rats in the Depths or from the DLC area when you get to it(the DLC area is the best place for farming humanities by far). The humanities are an instant full heal.
>>
>>184097426
i'd help you but i've only played bloodborne in like one year and i haven't been playing Das in like 3 years so i really don't know the answer, sorry
>>
>>184096402
The problems with that are:
1) You also have White Church and Black Church hunters in the same area, which hints that the clothing was there at the start of the Church.
2) The Yahar'gul hunter is probably supposed to be a prisoner. However, this implies that Mensis and the Church were at odds very early on, which causes other problems.
3) Mensis is technically part of the Church, so grouping it under Church garb sort of makes sense. Isn't the Mensis cage also a Church item?
There probably isn't a decent answer to this one, though.

>>184097380
I thought there was a half-transformed Celestial Emissary on one of the operating tables (it's been suggested that this might be the blood minster who treats you at the start of the game, as there's a wheelchair nearby). There are also a few Emissaries wandering round the Forbidden Woods- but how would they have got there so fast from the clinic?

In addition the "co-op miracles" in DS1 suck dick compared to the later entries. The only AoE heals are locked behind a useless fag enabler covenant that only really has those co-op miracles and if a host made it all the way to the area where you can get them, they should be able to heal phantoms with their Estus.

One thing that DS2 did really well was make most healing miracles have an AoE for co-op phantoms as well.
>>
>>184097380
My theory:
The ayy lmao who drops Iosefka's Blood is actually not Iosefka, but the homeless looking man who gave you the initial blood transfusion. Meanwhile, the actual Iosefka went mad from using the Third Umbilical Cord and her personality changed dramatically. In fact, your observation strengthens this theory: she wasn't letting you in because she was fiddling with the Third Umbilical Cord, and you weren't supposed to see that. This is the only adequate theory that explains why the two doctors look identical.

I personally believe that Ludwig started off as an executioner (he's still wearing the Executioner set, even in his transformed state), and then became a hunter for the Church. The Executioner set became the basis for the White and Black church sets, while Ludwig designed the Yharnam Hunter set and all of its derivatives. The Church sets were worn by actual clerics, while the Hunter sets were relegated to the regular Yharnamites recruited by Ludwig. There's a big difference, isn't it?
I personally believe that Logarius had been an executioner since before the time of the Old Hunters, because he doesn't fight like a hunter and has no trick weapon. His looks indicated that he was a very old man when he sacrificed himself.

>>184096402
>I think this might be it because in Research Hall, which is supposed to take in the past with the Healy Wheely Church being more powerful than they are at the start of the game, you have a Church assassin that's wearing the Yahar'gul black garb, which suggests that what is now considered "Yahar'gul garb" was what regular church hunters wore.
I personally don't think that's the case, there are many hunters in this prison, all of them church hunters, and they all wear different sets. The one you're talking about is presumably Antal, who's a defector anyway.
>And indeed, the Yahar'gul garb is categorized under "Church" garb in the inventory, lending further credence to this theory.
That's because the School of Mensis is one of the two ruling organisations of the Church, even though they went rogue at some point.

As much as the Pcucks are annoying, console elitism is equally retarded. Pretty much nobody plays DS1 or DS2 on the consoles and a console only thread would become a really tiny circlejerk that's spread across 4 games. It's not rocket science really, if you go out of your way to act obnoxious toward any particular platform, all the sane people will laugh at you and move on instead of playing along with the platform war bullshit.

>>184097668
>reminder that bbg shouldn't exist and that we should have had a fromsoft general in the first place

Fuck no. /dsg/ is a shithole because you have all the hardcore fanboys for DS1 / DS2 / DS3 all in the same thread and a lot of the times the threads are just DS2fags trollshielding on DS3fags or vice versa.

/bbg/ is comfy because everyone is here to discuss one game only so there is no need go do autistic shitposts dedicated to ranking the games.

Even nowadays it's still more active than PC versions where you have a 3rd party malware add-n that tells you how many people are online.

The problem is that there are very few sane people on 4chan, you just need a single comment about which platform is better to completely derail a thread.

Can you operate the shortcut elevator before the elevator that takes you to Wet Nurse? Because if you can, you could probably go into the window and get through the area where you drop the Brain of Mensis and access both areas by falling down the hole. The question is why would you want to do that.

Put your trip back on Lucifer. And it's not really a "fact", just an assumption that can't be proved to the contrary because there isn't a timeline where DaS2 and 3 were not released on the PC.

But I've been around when DS1 was the newest game and PS3 elitists were butthurt about "xniggers" getting a hold of their exclusive even before the rants about "PCfags" started to go around because there was no PC release yet.

So from that basis my assumption is that pc release or not, the ds2 / ds3fags would be at each others' throats regardless.

Depends how far you're willing to accept evidence out of game, but:
1) You're not supposed to be able to see much of the original Iosefka, which means "voice changing" rather than "same actor acting differently" probably means "different person"
2) The second actress in the credits is "imposter Doctor" (not Iosefka, interestingly), and an imposter passes themselves off as someone or something they're not
3) If every other Emissary drops something related to what they were (e.g. sedatives, Arianna's shoes), it seems odd that the minister would drop Iosephka's blood and not, say, ordinary vials.

>>184098232
Other Yahar'gul hunters use Church weapons, though- the ones guarding the Village have the Tonitrus and Ludwig's Rifle. On reflection, I think the fact that he's got his weapons on him rather than being disarmed is probably the best indication he's not a prisoner in the same way that the Choir member in the Hypogean Gaol is.
Like Yamamura and Brador, he's probably a Hunter that went mad and had to be preventatively detained by the Church. But I think the balance is in favour of him being a hunter working for Mensis, and not an example of what all early Church Hunters look like.

If we go with the idea that there's early Church Hunters and post-Executioners Church Hunters, maybe the only difference between outfitsis the added shawl. However, I think this:
>>184098343
makes a lot of sense. The idea that Executioners, Gehrman and the Powder Kegs all co-existed with separate workshops fits with the description of the Executioners having their own workshop, "a secretive enclave of mystical beliefs and heady fanaticism". If they'd come in with the Yharnam Hunters, they wouldn't have needed to be secretive and they could easily have shared the Healing Church Workshop.

This game is so addictive. I love the whole Souls series but I tend to find them a bit gruelling to play, like it takes something out of me so I can only play them for so long in one go. Meanwhile I can play Bloodborne all day long, even though it's more horrific and depressing, with more disgusting enemies.
>>
>>184099782
Agree with everything.
>>
>>184099789
For me it's addictive because of the hunter slick movement which change the pace of the game considerably. The weapon though not as many is still unique on their own. And though not well-received by many, i love Chalice dungeon just because i like grinding for gems.

>You're not supposed to be able to see much of the original Iosefka, which means "voice changing" rather than "same actor acting differently" probably means "different person"
Even so: why would Iosefka-2 put on Iosefka-1's clothes on even though clearly no one is supposed to see her? Isn't it a bit of an overkill?
>The second actress in the credits is "imposter Doctor" (not Iosefka, interestingly), and an imposter passes themselves off as someone or something they're not
The credits actually don't name a whole bunch of characters by the name (Eileen and Gilbert come to mind). As for Iosefka-2 being an impostor doctor - well, it's sure isn't medicine that she's doing behind the closed doors.
>3) If every other Emissary drops something related to what they were (e.g. sedatives, Arianna's shoes), it seems odd that the minister would drop Iosephka's blood and not, say, ordinary vials.
Well, he did work in Iosefka's clinic after all, so it would make sense that he would drop the type of blood used in this clinic.

>>
>>184100735
Weapon is the priority, not the gun the melee one. With spare blood echoes (after you've levelled and upgraded stuff), it's a good idea to stockpile healing items and bullets. They get more expensive as the game goes on and you'll go through periods where you just burn through them.

You'll want 10k for the item that opens the gate in the Cathedral Ward too.

Weapon upgrades matter more at the start than upgrading your stats. You can get your Axe up to +3 before you require Twin Blood Stone shards.

>why would Iosefka-2 put on Iosefka-1's clothes
In game, because she needs to convince the people brought to the clinic that she's a Church Doctor in order to lull them into a false sense of security. That's if she wasn't wearing White Church garb already, of course.

Out of game, you're only supposed to see the model through a very narrow crack in the window. That means you're supposed to focus on the voice acting, which comes from two different actresses, and not the model, which is the same both times. That means they want you to understand that it's two different people.
>The credits actually don't name a whole bunch of characters by the name
They do name Iosefka, though.
>for Iosefka-2 being an impostor doctor
The important bit is not "doctor", but that her description doesn't include Iosefka. If your argument was true and both characters are meant to be Iosefka, the pair might be named "Doctor" and "insane Doctor" or "Iosefka" and "insane Iosefka", but not "Doctor Iosefka" and "Imposter Doctor".
>it would make sense that he would drop the type of blood used in this clinic.
There are normal blood vials lying around in the clinic at the start of the game, so they clearly use both. The fact she'll only give you four, and the fact we only find it in one place other than the clinic suggests that the special vials are in limited supply. On the other hand, Yharnam produces more normal blood than alcohol. The logical conclusion, then, is that most treatment at Iosefka's clinic uses normal blood, and the special stuff is either for special cases or is still in its development phase.

The fact that the item is named "Iosefka's blood vial" and not "Clinic blood vial" is meant to be a big fat hint that the Emissary you kill is Iosefka. Similarly, the fact that Imposter Doctor gives you Numbing Mist, Lead Elixir, and Beast Blood Pellets instead of Iosefka's Blood Vials is meant to be a big fat hint that she's not Iosefka..

Nah. I find even getting to that ice doggo to be awful in DS3. That fat knight fucks me up, all the other knights fuck me up. I feel like I'm fighting a series of minibosses. Those oily snake fucks too. Every "room" feels like I might die. Iudex Gundyr typically kills me about 4 times, killed me about 7 times on my first time. By contrast, my first ever time on Gerhman I did it in 3 attempts.

In DS1 and DS2 I can typically sleepwalk through it with a few exceptions (talking about regular enemies not bosses). Same in Bloodborne and add on that I didn't summon or feel pressured to, but I did in DS1. But yeah, DS3 is basically a waste of money for me. I have the DLC as well but I haven't got past that cathedral place after the sage.
>>
>>184106001
Come to think of it, I've never bothered to explicitly look, but I'm going to say there aren't.

>>184106031
That's fucking weird mate. I slept through DaS3 until King of Storms/ Nameless and then went back to sleep until Spin Doctors.

I had to cap myself at SL70 to make the game challenging, and even then it was only the DLCs that were challenging.
>>
>>184105208
DaS1 has the largest barrier to entry for completely new players, but offers the least mechanical challenge for experienced ones.
DaS2 is kind of all over the place difficulty wise. Easy for new players at the start, but does a poor job of teaching important mechanics that become relevant later, and jumps between trivial and challenging almost arbitrarily.
DaS3 is by far the easiest to start with both because it's the most simplified and intuitive with regards to obscure mechanics, and has the easiest, most heavily tutorialized earlygame to gradually teach a new player all the core mechanics but then progresses to some of the most challenging content in the entire series.
BB is kind of all over the place. Its mechanics are as simple as DaS3 and easy to figure out, but it has practically no tutorial and instead just throws you into an earlygame sandbox area full of enemy packs and tells you to figure shit out. It's incredibly forgiving with 20 vials, but fewer iframes, counter damage during dodges and the generally higher enemy damage that can result in potential instantkills on failed dodges, mixed with the highest input delay in the series forcing counterinuitive predictive dodging, can make its difficult combat very unforgiving. The biggest notch against its difficulty is just how easy it is to exceed the intended level/upgrade level for an area and proceed to stunlock the boss into oblivion and dumpster it in about 5 seconds. None of the other souls games make it so easy to overpower yourself, or reward you so heavily for doing so, which really only leaves the deep chalices as potentially difficult content.

Though I'd consider some of the FRC chalice bosses to be the most difficult content in the entire series due to the fact that any mistake is a potential instantkill and the fights take ages.

That's where my experience totally differs. Yeah, the VERY start is easy, sure, right before Iudex, but I die to him more than any boss in the entire series with a few exceptions. Then you have that samurai fuck right afterwards (optional, I know). There's something chaotic and unpredictable about DS3 for me; enemies delaying their swings to throw off dodges or parries, and slightly janky stuff that can happen like webm related. It seems really based around stunlocking enemies, but I never know if I'm going to actually stunlock them or just stroke them pathetically right before they tear me to shreds.

pffffft

Anywho, part of what makes DaS3 easy to start with is that nobody leaves the high wall a 'new player.' You might struggle with it for a while, die a couple times, get dumpstered by a few enemies, but all while you're dying, you're learning essential combat basics and figuring out your playstyle. For the vast majority of totally fresh new players, high wall takes an hour or two and there's no 'wrong' way to go about it, nor any 'bad' way to learn. The area is actually incredibly well designed to teach the basics through trial and error.

Comparatively, most people make it to gargoyles by dying, crying, learning nothing and eventually running past most enemies, then get stuck on the boss until they google how to summon help. A few players self-teach the core mechanics, but most do not and rely either on external information (guides) or just learn to abuse twink summons to carry them through the game.

I suppose the caveat here is that if you have experience with prior souls games and struggle with a new one because you l i t e r a l l y can't adjust to the differences (and then proceed to blame the game for them), you're just unforgivably bad in a way that's deeply spiritual and intrinsic to your being you blubbering ragebaby. Sure, some players struggle to adjust at first, especially going from BB to a souls game or vice versa, but most overcome that hurdle within their first hour of play and settle into things. If you're hours deep and still popping vials when you want to transform your weapon, or blocking when you mean to heal, there's no fault but your own. No game could handhold you hard enough at that point.

Well my friend who was totally new couldn't get past Iudex at all. That's where the game ended for him. I showed him DS1 after that, after he returned DS3 to the store, and he got to Taurus, beat him after a few tries, moved on, killed the gargoyles after a few more tries. I think that fundamentally the wild, random-seeming, all over the fucking shop way that things fight in DS3 is really offputting for certain people, me included. I genuinely find Pursuer or Havel easier than many normal DS3 enemies.

I have a similar thing in BB where I find fights like Gerhman easier than even Cleric Beast, as the latter just feels like being trapped in a rainstorm made out of hair and teeth. Anyway, last non-BB thing from me.

The hardest Soulsborne game is the one you play first.

I had fairly easy time with Bloodborne's base game not counting the chalices compared to the other games BUT

The Chalice Dongs and the DLC are way more intense than anything Souls has outside of Dark Souls 3's DLC.

So overall, all DLC and optional content accounted for, Bloodborne and DS3 have the most challenging Souls content with DS2 coming in second (most of it's bosses are easy fucking garbage but the DLC bosses put up a decent fight), DS1 after that and Demon's Souls as the easiest.

But if you're used to just hiding behind a greatshield in Souls and that's all you can do, then Bloodborne is either going to force you to adapt to the new playstyle or stop playing.

Demon's Souls and Bloodborne LEVELS are probably the most challenging especially since they actually expect you to go through the entire level without constantly dotting bonfires along the way like DS2 does and DS3 does in some levels which makes otherwise possibly tense levels just boring (like Farron Keep is a joke due to the million bonfire they give you every 5 feet).

So DeS / BB are like hard levels but relatively easy bosses (aside from BB's DLC which is hard levels plus hard bosses).

The levels in Demon's Souls definitely have a distinct feel of attrition to them but the player is able to persevere in DeS / BB better due to the healing system allowing you to resupply off of the level instead of having to have a bonfire every 2-3 mins.

The health and level system is one of the things I desperately want them to model after DeS / BB's in From's next game, the segmented Estus flask was just a shit design choice imo. And the Estus Flask in general as well.

>In game, because she needs to convince the people brought to the clinic that she's a Church Doctor in order to lull them into a false sense of security.
Does she need to? She's a hunter and can overpower anyone you send to her clinic. I would also assume that she normally wears the Choir set, because she's a Choir member.
>If your argument was true and both characters are meant to be Iosefka, the pair might be named "Doctor" and "insane Doctor" or "Iosefka" and "insane Iosefka", but not "Doctor Iosefka" and "Imposter Doctor".
I feel that the only wording that would totally rule out my theory would be "Iosefka" and "Impostor Iosefka" - that would mean that she's definitely not Iosefka. "Impostor Doctor" means that she pretends to treat people, but she doesn't, which is absolutely what happens in the game.
>The logical conclusion, then, is that most treatment at Iosefka's clinic uses normal blood, and the special stuff is either for special cases or is still in its development phase.
At any rate; it would still be natural for the clinic's personnel (of which there's apparently only one old paraplegic guy) to handle the special blood.
>The fact that the item is named "Iosefka's blood vial" and not "Clinic blood vial" is meant to be a big fat hint that the Emissary you kill is Iosefka.
Importantly, the blood is not described as Iosefka's own, but rather, as a product of the clinic. Anyone who works there could have it, and maybe even patients (which would explain the one in Mergo's Loft).
>Similarly, the fact that Imposter Doctor gives you Numbing Mist, Lead Elixir, and Beast Blood Pellets instead of Iosefka's Blood Vials is meant to be a big fat hint that she's not Iosefka.
Or maybe she just stopped making it because she now uses the transfusion machines for her experiments? She still has access to all of the clinic's facilities and documentation, she could keep making it.
>>
>>184112937
I find it the exact opposite. Demon's Souls regular enemies are slow and predictable as fuck. Bloodborne enemies are faster but are easy as hell to dodge around and/or parry and/or just stun lock as if they're a scarecrow and you're a combine harvester driving over them.

That said, I do see what you mean by the attrition thing. I got that in DS2 as well, like that watery sorceress area was like that big time for me.

>Demon's Souls regular enemies are slow and predictable as fuck
But there's a lot more of them compared to say, DS1. In DS1 the Black Knights are one-time spawns, DeS (and DS3) treat the Blue-Eyed / RedEyed Boletarian (and Lothric) knights as regular enemies and for example the stretch from 1-3 Archstone to the first shortcut has over 40 soldiers including Knights, Fat Officials, assassins and regular troopers.

And then you have super asshole enemies like the Giant Defiled Ones in VoD or the plague rats.

All this talk about blood ministers got me thinking about them and I realised a couple of things.

They're all sitting in wheelchairs. Why? I believe that constant inhalation of old blood vapours damages their nervous system and makes them paraplegic. Loss of use of the lower extremities is a common consequence of the inhalation of nerve agents, be that chemical weapons or toxic fumes at the workplace.

This could be the origin of the myth that beasthood creeps up the right leg - if the legs of those who work with the old blood start failing, then clearly there must be some connection between the blood and legs.

Furthermore, many blood ministers wear plague doctor masks, which are essentially renaissance era gas masks. Are they wearing them to protect themselves from the old blood vapours? That's one possibility.

Finally, why are they the only enemy in the game that solely uses powerful ranged weapons? Why, this is because the firearms in Yharnam, as far as I can tell, use blood instead of gunpowder. Keep this in mind: the quality of your blood (that's what bloodtinge is called in the Japanese version) determines the damage your guns inflict, and to load more bullets into your gun, you need to pay with your blood. Blood ministers are, due to the nature of their work, always carrying large amounts of blood around, and they're very proficient with its usage. Clearly, if there's anyone to be entrusted with large guns, it's them.

Maria can set her blood on fire, so this must be a common property of the hunter blood. What ticks me off is not the blood usage, but the bullet usage. Why would a flamethrower use bullets? I can't explain this. And don't even get me started on the slugs that eat bullets and shoot out tentacles. Maybe the bullets are the means of getting the blood into the tool, and only the blood is used, while the bullet is discarded.

>She's a hunter and can overpower anyone you send to her clinic
Yes, but she doesn't want to have to overpower them and damage the specimens. Wearing the White Church set lulls them into a false sense of security until she can subdue them, probably from behind. Wearing anything else, they'd be alert as soon as she opened the door, and might run/scream/fight if she did anything unusual.
>that would mean that she's definitely not Iosefka
The combination is about as clear as it can be: "Impostor" + not called Iosefka + different VA = not Iosefka.
>she pretends to treat people, but she doesn't
Except being a doctor in Bloodborne almost universally means you do horrible experiments on people under the guise of treating them. The White Church Set is the "Attire of special Church doctors" who believe "medicine is not a means of treatment but rather a method for research". What "Impostor doctor" means is not that she's "Iosefka imposturing as a doctor": she's a doctor who is imposturing as Iosefka.
>a product of the clinic
In game, it's a clinic original, and Iosefka runs the clinic. The structure seems to be that the blood minster does most of the treatments using standard blood, and Iosefka supervises him while conducting research and producing her own refined blood. When the impostor comes along, she's only interested in ascension and doesn't have either the knowledge or the inclination to make refined blood- nor does she bother to search out the clinic's limited supply. Therefore, the impostor gives you other rewards. The earlier real Iosefka didn't give you these because she didn't have access to them.

Out of game, the item description is what you see when you pick it up. If you don't click through, you don't see the additional text. The Iosefka Emissary drops Iosefka's blood vial.

I don't think you're trolling, but this idea actually makes less sense than "the Executioners are actually Cainhurst servants who rebelled".

Just because the blood minster who treats us is sat in a wheelchair doesn't mean that everybody in a wheelchair is a blood minster. I'll concede it's got some good points to it, but the idea as a whole just doesn't quite gel with the feel of the world for me. Executioners as an early zealot faction of the Healing Church seems to work better.

I put a lot of the jankiness around Cainhurst down to them making changes late in development and having to cobble together a plot that more or less made sense.

>have you read the gloves description
Yes, but there's one pair of gloves and they're "passed from executioner father to executioner son". So I don't get why the whole rebellion would call themselves Executioners rather than, say, Servants or Knights. I think it's just over-use of the term Executioners in the game, and that goes for the Executioners/Nightmare Executioners as well.
>>
>>184120234
>50/25 or 25/50?
Depends on your preference.

50/25 is better for Boomhammer, untricked HMLS, untricked Wheel, and Str weapons like Kirkhammer.

25/50 is better for tricked Wheel, tricked HMLS, Hunter Tools, converting weapons.

>Just because the blood minster who treats us is sat in a wheelchair doesn't mean that everybody in a wheelchair is a blood minster.
There's a portrait of a person dressed like one of the wheelchair enemies in Cainhurst, and it clashes badly with the nobility portraits all around it. This is assumed to be the person who brought the secret of blood ministration from Byrgenwerth to Cainhurst.
>They're more likely old Yharnamites (or people who were elderly or ill who came to Yharnam for treatment) who are taking part in the hunt because the beast problem is so desperate.
Even if that were true (which I find hard to believe - Gilbert is not even old, and he sits at home), why would all of them ride around in wheelchairs? Whenever I see a person in a wheelchair, it's almost certainly a person who can't use his legs. People who are so old that they need a wheelchair (and it's always a motorised one) are too weak already. This is especially relevant since Yharnam is the least wheelchair-friendly city imaginable.
>... because they're old men sitting in wheelchairs?
This does not explain the baffling abundance of wheelchair-bound people in Yhatnam, much less the fact that they're all carrying artillery grade weapons.

Vermin are found in Beasts' blood. Beasts were once humans. It's heavily implied that the presence of vermin in the blood has something to do with the transformation into a beast.

Quicksilver = Mercury
Mercury = Vermillion
Vermillion = Vermis = Worm

Vermin are worms, or wormlike.

This shit ain't rocket surgery.
>>
>>184120507
I would assume the name executioner is a symbolic ones. as revolutionaries, they probably didn't call themselves anything, but as they joined with the church and mythologized their history into the story of a martyr, the title took on a symbolic significance.

The concept of executioners vs royalty has symbolic precedence in the french revolution, and the fact that most of the deposed monarchy and noble class were publicly executed.

I would assume the original "Executioner" refers to Logarius, both because he was clearly the leader of the group, is the only one who actually freely uses the Executioner's signature blood magic (which is also associated with the gauntlets), and wields a really oddly shaped miniscythe that's I can't really imagine having any function beyond being an executioner's implement. His scythe-thing is also the tool he uses to cast his blood magic, which makes sense because the Wheel's description suggests the source of that magic is the object in question being bathed in the blood of so many victims that their angry spirits dwell in it.

BMA is a special case and will definitely piss people off.
Long answer is that the most effective counter to BMA is to backpedal and wait the buff out. Any other course of action puts the BMA user at a strong advantage because as long as they hold the BMA shot any attempt at aggression can be immediately met with a free, near-instant 900 damage punish.
So the other player waits your BMA out, and the fight just stalls for 30 seconds.
You can hold 10 BMA, which means potentially stalling the fight for like 5 minutes if you wanted to just be an extra fuck. Nobody enjoys a stalled out waiting game while your buff is countered, so it will piss everybody off and just announces you're willing to make the whole fight into a tedious waiting game just for every tiny bit of advantage because you care about winning in a fight with no rewards that much.

>>184121690
Slightly different.
Hamlet magic is just pure, unadulterated cursed souls. Vengeful spirits of the dead victims of the Hamlets sacking. There's nothing 'physical' to them.
Executioner magic is cursed souls residing in blood. It's specifically the blood spilled by the executioners, in which the souls of the victims still reside. The blood they're within is the medium that actually moves and strikes, the souls are just what empowers and directs that blood towards you.

In the case of the Hamlet, the souls are very likely empowered by their worship of Kos and the Orphan, hence why there's no apparent medium and the energy is just deep purplish.
In the case of the executioners, the blood is specifically the Vilebloodss and Cainhurst nobles, and like their queen Annalise, seems to be implying that those who bear the forbidden blood are in some way technically immortal. Even when they're physically destroyed, they live on in their blood. The Vilebloods themselves were probably exceptionally difficult to 'kill' due to the properties of their blood, and probably why the Executioners resorted to using shit like giant fucking Wagon Wheels to just bludgeon vilebloods to death.

>There's a portrait of a person dressed like one of the wheelchair enemies in Cainhurst
Vaguely, based on red cloak and white ornate sleeves. However, it might just be reused concept art that looked appropriate to the setting.

>brought the secret of blood ministration from Byrgenwerth to Cainhurst.
You're confusing your concepts. Someone stole Old Blood from Byrgenwerth and brought it to Cainhurst. Subsequently, Lawrence took the Old Blood to Yharnam and invented blood ministration. But there's no reason that the Byrgenwerth scholar would be dressed as a Yharnam blood minister- they'd be more likely to wear Byrgenwerth clothes, or something from Cainhurst.

>Gilbert is not even old, and he sits at home
Which implies he's pretty fucked up, perhaps as a result of injuries sustained in the Hunt or from his existing life-threatening conditions. But he's a foreigner: Yharnamites might go out because they have more incentive to fight for their city, or because they're more blood-drunk.

>why would all of them ride around in wheelchairs
They don't all ride round in wheelchairs: the elderly and ill who are well enough to walk are probably meant to be reflected by the standard Yharnam mob model. The presence of people in wheelchairs trying to fight the beasts is meant to be a clue as to how bad Yharnam has got.

>the baffling abundance of wheelchair-bound people
This is a city which has a potential cure to the most life-threatening illnesses. Is it really a surprise that there would be a lot of people who needed wheelchairs?

>This does not explain the baffling abundance
But it does explain why they don't have melee weapons, right?

>they're all carrying artillery grade weapons
The ones in the Healing Church Workshop are, if by "artillery grade" you mean rifles, gatlings and flamesprayers. The ones elsewhere only have pistols. And the Healing Church Workshop is where the church makes its weapons, so they haven't had to cart them across the city.

>different VA
We know at least of one case where contact with the umbilical cord of the gods changed a person so much that his original self is actually referred to as dead, even though he's clearly not. It's Master Willem.
>What "Impostor doctor" means is not that she's "Iosefka imposturing as a doctor": she's a doctor who is imposturing as Iosefka.
I suppose if you strain your mind, you can also see this meaning as well, but it's definitely not the first one that comes to my mind.
> The structure seems to be that the blood minster does most of the treatments using standard blood, and Iosefka supervises him while conducting research and producing her own refined blood.
Aside from that fact that we can only speculate how the clinic was organised: it was most assuredly not standard blood that he pumped into our veins. Makes me wonder if the clinic was in on the whole Hunter's Dream business. If it was, it only goes to show that the original doctor was also a liar and a shady character.
Another point: it could be that the special blood is necessary for the transformation, so she doesn't waste it on us any longer.
>but this idea actually makes less sense than "the Executioners are actually Cainhurst servants who rebelled"
I think my theory is the only way to explain all the fishy things about both Iosefkas. And I also argued that the executioners were Cainhurst rebels, so there's that!

The wheel is kinda frustrating to use, to be honest. The combination of fucking awful reach and slow speed makes it a pain to use against a lot of enemies. Sure, it can trade, but you take fuckloads of damage trading in bb and rarely get a guaranteed followup, plus for some reason they gave the wheel one of the worst rally values in the game so you can't take advantage of rally to trade like you can with the tricked burial blade.

Compare that to the saif, where you outrange every enemy and touch them into stunlocks for your full stamina bar every time, always getting the first strike and killing everything before any threat of retaliation.

It's kinda silly the wheel doesn't do more damage on its own to compensate for the speed, reach and lack of rally

>However, it might just be reused concept art that looked appropriate to the setting
There's a portrait of a young bell woman there to hint at the connection between Cainhurst and Pthumeru. The portraits are significant.

>You're confusing your concepts.
You're nitpicking at the definitions. I obviously meant the old blood and its handling. We have no idea how the blood ministers (blood transfusionists, if you insist) of Byrgenwerth actually looked like, so they might as well look the same as the Yharnam blood ministers. Especially since the Byrgenwerth defector is an incredibly significant person in the history of Cainhurst, and this portrait looks just too suggestive.

>But he's a foreigner
Like the Good Hunter? Or Gascoigne? Or, likely, Eileen? It almost looks like most hunters worth their salt are foreigners.

>The presence of people in wheelchairs trying to fight the beasts is meant to be a clue as to how bad Yharnam has got.
Frankly, there's still too many of them around per capita. It almost looks like the healthy people mostly stay at home, but all the disabled felt the urge to go hunting, which is highly illogical.

>Is it really a surprise that there would be a lot of people who needed wheelchairs?
No, but it's a huge surprise that these people would go out and hunt.

>But it does explain why they don't have melee weapons, right?
It's not about the melee weapons, it's about having the biggest guns around.

>The ones elsewhere only have pistols
Actually, you missed the area with most wheelchair enemies: the Research Hall. To me, the abundance of wheelchair enemies there really cements down the idea that they're blood ministers and not just old people. They're even seen performing blood ministration on the bubbleheads! This, coupled with the game's intro, coupled with the Cainhurst portrait, in my view constitutes the ultimate proof. As for the Church Workshop? I love Dark Souls, but that bossfight is not perfect, super Ornstein is glitched as shit. Yet, it was the best before Bloodborne.
>>
Okay, I am not sure whether there is something fundamentally wrong with me, but Dark Souls 2 is by far the hardest game in the series for me, maybe followed up by Blooborne. DS3 is piss easy in comparison.

I don't really get DS2 on a basic level. When playing, I don't even feel like I am really in control. Rolling and parrying are things I don't even attempt because timing is so weird.

I never got past Sinner and Smelter Demon. The area before Sinner alone feels like some of the hardest areas in the other games with the incredibly strong, fast and durable monsters that attack you on a sticky floor.
>>
>>184125767

I-frames are linked to Adaptability, level it up to have better rolls. If you can, use a shield with 100% phys damage reduction.
>>
>>184125609
i agree that dropping end by a lot would mean i do more damage, but i like the extra end so i can stun bosses like keeper for longer, which leads to higher dps overall as cooperators can recharge their stam while im still attacking, plus its always nice to have a little extra in case the boss is something like camerabeast or hblb and starts spamming ohko's so i dont get killed and make everyone wait. personal preference i guess

>>184123394
>I wouldn't freak out because I wouldn't recognise the outfit.
If this were true, then the impostor would just be wearing Choir uniform all the way through the game. In reality, if you went to a hospital and the person who was supposed to be treating you was wearing clothes you didn't even recognise, you'd be wary. That's why the imposter who replaces Iosefka also takes her clothing.

>changed a person so much that his original self is actually referred to as dead,
He doesn't change voice actor, though. Nor does Arianna, or anybody else in the game. The only person who changes voice actor is someone who is replaced by an impostor.

>it was most assuredly not standard blood that he pumped into our veins
There's absolutely no evidence for this whatsoever. We're new to town, and he starts us off with "a bit of Yharnam blood"- the same bog standard Yharnam blood that everybody else uses and that is contained in the blood vials which we find a short distance away from our operating table.

>Another point
Please don't just make shit up as you go along. If the special blood was necessary for the transformation, and the imposter has been working towards the transformation from the start of the game, why does she give us any at all?

>my theory is the only way to explain all the fishy things about both Iosefkas
The only "fishy thing" is that a model doesn't change, which can be explained by you not being supposed to get a good look at it. Your theory manages to generate problems which can't be solved in-game or out-of-game.

>I also argued that the executioners were Cainhurst rebels
See, I don't understand this. Even basic stuff like how long the Healing Church has been around is hard enough to explain. I don't get why people find it fun to confuse pretty obvious things like "two Iosefkas" with poorly-grounded speculation, let alone why they'd do it again and again. Are you actually trolling?
>>
>>184125921
Okay, here's what I think.
The Madaras twins grew up in the Woods, alongside their pet snake. They became hunters, and fed beast entrails to said snake, which became huge. They also performed experiments to support their village, where they probably kept their snake.
Snake grows into a huge, mutant snake, has mutant snake babies, once the twins are gone, the snakes run amok and infect the members of the village, who could be the guys that have snakes coming out of their heads. Any survivors flee to the upper part of the woods, build a new village, and construct traps in the form of gates, dogs, holes in the ground, and rivers of oil.
The snakes also infect the Shadow of Yharnam, but they're able to control them, and use them to their advantage in fighting, which is why they aren't present in the ones in Mergo's Loft.

Havel shield breaks the game, you'll never need to dodge, just raise it and nothing will be able to pass through it. You can defeat dlc bosses, the hardest of the game, esaily with it. Every shield that can block physical attacks makes ds2 a joke.

My theory is that Winter Lanters are similar to the boggart from Harry Potter and they take the form of something terrifying that is specially tailored to whatever is looking at it. It takes something the hunter is familiar with, the doll, and makes it grotesque and horrifying to confuse and frenzy them. I apogize for the reference, I know HP is for babbies. >The portraits are significant.
No, some of the portraits may be significant.

>You're nitpicking at the definitions
You told us this was clear evidence the Yharnamites were blood ministers. The definitions matter.

>(blood transfusionists, if you insist) of Byrgenwerth
Willem's adage was "Fear the Old Blood": you really think they had people whose sole job was to inject the blood into people? Or do you think the scholars did it under very limited and controlled circumstances as part of experiments?

>most hunters worth their salt are foreigners.
For a start, you're confusing the ordinary hunters who roam the streets on the night of the hunt with the more specialist hunters. Secondly, everybody you named has a special reason to dedicate themselves to the hunt. The Good Hunter and Gilbert signed contracts in return for their blood ministration; Eileen may have done so as well; and Gascoigne, even if he didn't have a contract of his own, was married to a Yharnam woman. Now Gilbert's contract is over, he's got less incentive to fight for the town than someone who's lived there all their life.

>there's still too many of them around per capita
I understand you're wedded to this theory, but sometimes you have to face reality.

>the healthy people mostly stay at home,
When we speak to people in their houses, does it seem like there are many Yharnam men still indoors?

>it's a huge surprise that these people would go out and hunt.
Wow, it's almost as if the city is on the verge of falling into complete fucking chaos and its inhabitants, particularly the ill and elderly ones who have been receiving blood treatment, have developed a pathological desire to see beasts killed or something.

>she didn't USE the cord
She is touched by a Great One to the extent she conceives a child and goes mad, and her voice doesn't change.

>And you're saying it's common blood?
Yes, I'm saying it's common blood and that our ascension to the dream could well be the result of something completely different.

>You seem to be the one to make shit up all the time,
I've not changed any of my arguments. You're adding stuff and changing your mind rather than admit to being wrong.

>she was lying about her patients,
Or the imposter experimented on the other patients first, they died, and she dumped the bodies after autopsying them to work out what might have gone wrong. The blood minister is the half-transformed victim on the operating table, and Iosefka is the first one where it worked fully. The imposter then continues to experiment on the people we send to the clinic, and leaves the new Emissaries wandering the halls in confusion. See how easy it is?

>Some people are narrow minded

>fuckton of ritual mats, talking about 20 slugs 3 backbones and ritual bloods all over the place
>revenge on spammon giant
>arcane lake on pre-boss
>probably something else o forgot since layer 3 was so big
>ebby bullied by sparkly pointy things
>no layer 4

Thanks for joining Alba and Katka, fun as always
>>
>>184133069
Thanks. To be honest, I would be the first one to admit that the Iosefka and Executioner theories are dubious, but I chose to believe that they're true. It's when he started arguing that the blood ministers are not blood ministers that my blood got boiling. Stay tuned for more crazy theories.

>>184133106
I chimped out when I realised that I actually spent a lot of valuable free time arguing with a contrarian. That's the occasional risk of posting on 4chan, I suppose. Anyway, I feel like I said anything I could or wanted to say and now I just want some quality coop to take my mind off of it.
>>
>>184133706
It was a great time! Also a lot of saw spear hunters to fight

She didn't like us bullying her.

coming!
>>
>>184133174
4 deaths now. This is one of the bosses I've struggled most on. Fucking Defiled chalice shitfest.
>>
>>184134090
Build?
>>
>>184134090
You gotta stunlock him, leave enough stamina for a dodge and dodge away at the end of your combo.
>>
>>184133954
Is the pass correct, then?
>>
>>184134090
Dofile lowers enemies phys damage so everything wouldn't one shot you, but elemental stays the same
So just use charred hunter sat with keeper head
Summon
Don't get hit
>>
>>184134119
41 vit, 20 end, 43 str, 42 skill. LHB. She kills me in one hit with her spells, once she does the fire blade thing, pretty much everything she does kills me in one.

>>184134223
Doesn't seem to really work. I get two hits in and then he just ignores it and one shots me.
>>
>>184134231
Yeah, one guy is in.
>>
>>184134258
>Summon
Where is the summon. I think I remember seeing it earlier but I can't think where now.
>>
>>184134276
>LHB
Tricked one, right? The swings are too slow, he manages to recover.
>>
>>184134276
Use a faster weapon with stagger potential like Saw Cleaver (R1 + L1). Parry every time you can, often when she gets up, she'll do the same exact easily parryable attack.
>>
>>184134276
Try parrying. Bait that backpedal attack with the two swipes, the second is really easy to predict/anticipate
>>
>>184134454
Yeah. It's my only +10, though. I've got the Saw Spear at +8, I guess.

>>184134492
It's just risky as fuck because if I miss the parry, I'm probably dead.
>>
>>184134258
>Dofile lowers enemies phys damage so everything wouldn't one shot you, but elemental stays the same
>two of the bosses deal fire damage
Smooth design, Herr Miyazaki!
>>
>>184134575
Not in the first phase, if you keep your distance.
>>
Forbidden Woods anyone? Pass is grass, ringing at first lantern, no shortcuts open.

I dashed through here earlier to grab the tonsil stone and Cainhurst Summons.
>>
>>184134276
>ludwigs
>40/40
still, r1smash unrticked, then dodge backwards and shoot since he'll do the two r1s after getting mashed 100% of the time, then visceral and repeat
>>
>>184134258
>So just use charred hunter sat with keeper head
>keeper head
What's that? I don't seem to have that and I have every item (at least from the main game).
>>
>>184134575
He doesn't have too much health, should be okay.
>>
>>184134686
Booting up!
>>
>>184134586
>Defile lowers enemies phys damage so everything wouldn't one shot you
What's the point of this? Why not just let me have full health and make enemies dealing normal damage?
>>
>>184134258
Oh shit, I just reread my post
Guess I need some sleep with so many typos
>>
>>184134575

That's Defiled for ya

>>184134726
The witch hat/mask the keeper had. You can buy it at the insight shop
>>
>>184134802
To make elemental enemies extra dangerous.
>>
>>184134686

I started getting phantom parried and I wondered what was up.

>The witch hat/mask the keeper had. You can buy it at the insight shop
Oh right, I have that on. I have the whole Bone Ash set on. It has better Thrust defense, which I'm guessing the sword he has does.

Fuck it, I'll just summon. I've done all bosses in the game and all chalice shit so far without summoning once, so I owe myself that. I just want the plat at this point.

>>
>>184135660
Oh, no. All lowercase. Sorry, force of habit.
>>
Well there was no good loot in layer 1, on to layer 2 or are we helping each other with the boss?
>>

I don't like these input reading npc hunters.
>>
>>184136542
Oh, I'll ring by the stairs then.
>>
>>184136169
Don't worry about it. You have a double HP decrease. I actually nearly killed him then, I got his HP down to around where his name ends. Fucking hell, this is an annoying boss.
>>
>>184136560
Hope you'll never play ds2, then.
>>
>>184136613
I just needed to stay back an annihilate him with the gloves, but no.

Okay! Should I ring at Hemwick's first lamp or by fog?

First lamp, making my way there now.
