He's good, could be on par with Seris and Damba in healing if you build for it but with less burst. It's funny healing for 5 every tick with caut 3, it's worse than Seris in late game.
I thought his damage would be too high but seems balanced.
Void Grip is pretty fun, I win most of my duels with it.

mal'damba only heals a flat 300 on a target whereas 300 is 15% of 2000 so anyone with more health than lian or kinessa will gain more, especially front lines who gain and average of about 750 health immediately
disregarding legendaries for instant heals mal'damba will heal 1400 health in 5 seconds compared to jenos' 1250, but jenos' lasts twice as long so in total heals 2500 per heal
not to mention he can place it through walls jenos wins with raw numbers in most situations and even in fringe cases like evie where his numbers are lower just being able to apply heals through walls without risk of missing still leaves him at a huge advantage
this is just seris 2.0 where they release a new support who's really strong and easy, he's going to easily become a top pick support within a few weeks

I was thinking of having a frontline that uses stealth to protect people. Something like a cthullu-octo hero.

Left click: Spits a jet of ink at torvold range and damage, prolong hits will obsucre your target's vision so he can't see with his periphal vision

Right click: Deploys a camo wall behind you as you move that automatically cloaks your team from you enemy's vision so long as you are between them, countered by illuminate.

F: Jet backwards like Withdraw and leave behind an ink cloud like Skye's smoke. Multiple charges.

Ultimate: Spawn invisible baby octopus at every enemy location like a reverse Ying ult a short random distance away. These will close in on the enemy slowly then cripple them for 3 sec if they reach the target. Countered with illuminate.

The audio and animation in some of the weapons are weak, but the gameplay is enjoyable. There's a lot of apologists because the game gets a lot of shit for being "poor man's overwatch" when it has more to it than that game from a gameplay standpoint, but lacks in polish. It could be excused by the fact that it's a beta and that polishing occurs before release, but who knows. They have done a lot of changes that have improved the game aesthetically and in terms of quality of life though, so don't believe the anon who says it's a cash grab.

My only real gripe with this game is server issues and the bad ranked system, which they've already announced will be replaced.

i'm probably just unlucky with matchmaking and patchweek being patchweek, but this is getting way too consistent recently
secondary supports aren't very uncommon now, but almost everytime me or someone else picks jenos, a low rank (0-3) seris or mal comes after that. 99% of the time they're dead weight - picking the suboptimal legendary (soul collecter, agony, wekono's wrath) and generally just being garbage
are people that nervous of getting a jenos that won't heal or something? i don't remember anything like this happening when seris was first released

playing on a smurf made this game enjoyable again. Now I've just been practicing characters I never bothered with before because it took me being a damage to carry my team to victory on my main.

As I said I have only 100 matches out of 1200 tracked for casual, meaning it doesn't mean anything in relation to my actual hidden elo that is used for matchmaking.
Then my elo for competitive didn't count at all till I reached 4600 rating in-game. Then it suddenly started to work properly but over 100 games of winning at 70%+ lost.
This shit is worthless unlike actual competitive rating.
