1911 is better if you're going to quickdraw it to finish a 1v1. Higher damage and ROF makes it deal significantly more damage than the M9 in a short burst, but you have to carry .45 acp.

The M9 is better if you don't want to carry .45 and if you happen to need more than 1 kill with your pistol. Or just want to have more rounds to throw at one guy. It also tends to hit targets further away a bit easier than the 1911.

9mm is more common and I actually like carrying an Uzi/UMP so I tend to gravitate towards the m9.

The optimization still needs a lot of work. I'm running a 1070/6700k and I had to drop shadows down to high to get a stable 60 though I still have a few drops here and there. That being said I'll take a more stable framerate over dropping a few settings any day.

inventory+right clicking items that are on the floor forces the pickup animation, which has to finish before you can right click more stuff, so drag&drop is faster here

right clicking items when looting dead players doesn't make you go through the animation, meaning you can right click all of it real quick

Anyone else noticed the odd behavior of x8 scope after today's update where the aim is completely off when you use RMB by about 15-20 degrees left or right depending on which shoulder you aim from in 3rd person? Kinda feels like using Q or E except i'm not actually using it and then after first seconds of aiming the crosshair stabilizes and goes where I actually aimed it at. This is extremely annoying and makes x8 kinda of impossible to use in fast exchanges of fire.

I don't care about cosmetics overly, I just feel really cheated that they're actively taking a feature away from me. Like, when I purchased this game, I purchased it in the state where I would be able to dress my character up in a slightly whacky way. It provides slight amusement. The idea that they're just taking that away now because it's a potential way to make money in the future is kind of bullshit. It kind of feels unprecedented, too. I can't think of a single other game that has provided players full access to a feature, then revamped it completely to require money.

But don't worry, I guess you can sell your crates for 2c a pop until you have $2.50 to open a single crate. That's a totally reasonable way to handle a fundamental, expected feature of your multiplayer game and totally not a greedy publisher move to squeeze out extra money.

It just feels really hostile to the consumer, and whether or not it'll affect my ability to shoot dudes is kind of besides the point. The revamp they're doing to the crate system goes behind just adding in an optional cash shop. You'd have to farm hundreds of crates, sell them in an oversaturated market full of crates that no one is buying, to get the privilege to open one of the trash crates to *maybe* get an article of clothing you want, or can even use. It's possible, but practically implausible and no one interested in dressing up their character is actually going to participate in it. They're just going to pay the cash to open their trash crates. The fact that paying consumers that have already gotten used to a relatively free customization system now need to choose between going down that route or just not bothering at all is insanely unfair.
