Had a Bloodborne dream last night.

It was about a new area, a massive opened up Iosefka's Clinic. Me, the Hunter, or my character or something, went in, it was a fairly large open area with some symbol on the ground in the middle. For some reason, when I went in a ways, Arianna invaded, I think she used the cane. When I killed her it switched to first person view the deeper into the corridors I went and I saw something at the end of a long corridor dissipate into a cloud of flying things - dunno if they were bats or crows, made me think of the Dishonored games for some reason.

They should have put the Celestial Emissary fight in Iosefka's Clinic and have you pick up Cainhurst Summons after the fight. This would me a massive improvement over the current design in many way:
1. Celestial Emissary is a more challenging fight at the level when you access the clinic. When you can access Upper Cathedral Ward it becomes laughably easy.
2. There's no reason to have two bosses back to back, especially when one is so much easier than the other.
3. Iosefka's Clinic is where the Celestial Emissaries are made, so having this fight take place there would be a better fit for the lore.
4. As of right now, you can just pick up Cainhurst summons and be on your merry way. It would make the progression more interesting if the letter was a reward for a boss fight.

update on my 99 ARC build

BL 84, just got done with Failures and Maria. Right now I think ARC is at like 66 and VIT is 29, which is staying there. My main weapons have been the fire Saw Spear, fire Cuttah and Bolt Saif. Doing every non-CD boss solo, no summoning. A lot of people shit on Exec Gloves, but it has been quite useful for me. Kinda debated stopping at 70 ARC so I can use some more weapons, but I already have a BL 98 build with 50 ARC and a ton of weapons. And if I recall correctly, going past 50 ARC doesnt really help with gemmed weapons. Thanks to Segalt, Albatross, Emma, Roosevelt and any other hunters that have helped me through random shit and the Chalice Dungeons.

That's his personal taste. I think he's mostly wrong, I think most of DaS3s weapons and fashion are abysmally boring derivatives of each other with only a few interesting standout items. More weapons doesn't mean more quality, it just means wading through 15 useless straight swords until you hit the one good one, and never even touching a ton of others. I don't find any of Bloodborne's weapons boring design or set-wise, except Ludwig's because it's just a Souls greatsword.

I do wish there was a little more fashion, maybe, because stats mean fuck all and dress up is fun, but of what we do have, I think it works just fine.

The key is on a small platform inside the same room that you can access on the 1st floor, with the ladder you can climb to flank the big male patient, that you are 'supposed' to get by jumping out of the elevator halfway up to the second floor.

However, you can climb the aforementioned ladder, then jump off the balcony and onto the platform with the key.

The Pick itself is in the hallway just after Underground Corpse Pile.

After you rotate the staircase, take the elevator from the very top to midlevel and jump out halfway in bewteen. Head down the steps then back up to the other side. It's on a ledge down the hall.

It's not worth making a co-operator wait for since you have to move the staircase anyway but if you're bored you can technically make a jump from the top of the ladder in the same room.

After des das was very disappointing ith everything being reused and some bosses being poorly made copypaste from original, so I only played it for the pvp msotly after second month

Actually, I find the hunters the hardest, probably. Those guys off the side of the Cathedral Ward, for example. That faggot at the end of the Eileen quest line is the worst, though. I've died to him more than every single other boss combined, no fucking joke.

Same, I can never understand how people call him unfair. It's a pretty cut and dry boss. His charge is very easy to dodge and I don't relate to the hitbox nonsense because I've been directly under his balls many times and not gotten hit by the charge.

To be honest, as much as I love BB, I hate most areas. Many games have that one level that fucks you off and stops you playing, like Chemical Plant Zone, but BB is a load of them strung together. It's not so bad once I'm in them and focused on smaller goals, but thinking about getting there is awful.

I just avoid him until he drains his own life. heals and drain it again.

and then I run around until he starts to charge me, hell usually do a straight thrusting lunge and you can turn around and do a running r1, but you have to be very quick. and then get the fuck out of there. if you're lucky sometimes he'll dodge into one of the side platforms on the stairs and won't be able to run off allowing you to cheese him and sometimes go for a backstab. very rarely he'll do a charge attack and you can stagger him but that goes against the name of the game staying far away so you can dodge his fuck you bullets.
