Just finished Enderal. Wish the writer(s) didn't rip so much from Mass Effect for the story, but I'm still impressed with other aspects of the writing, like the dialogue. The few characters you met had actual opinions and interesting things to say, and I don't remember hearing a bad voice. Like, the voice acting here is literally better than Skyrim's, and that kind of blows me away. They also seems to understand allusion more than Bethesda's team, and the game was at its best when it got all surreal on you, because the writing behind those moments was surreal in kind.

7/10, it was a fun ride. Kinda wish they would've held it back for another year to fully develop the Undercity and factions quests.

I both love and hate how the games handle the lore. However, when those things so much as poke their head around the corner, a shiver runs down your spine and you just know things are about to get real, it's a thrill. Oblivion's endless talk of mudcrabs and goblin killing, all the inane stuff makes entering the Night Mother's tomb, watching Menhures Dagon walk Tamriel a second time, and mantling a Daedric Prince all the more unique and rewarding.

Using Frostfall for so long makes me feel like cheating now that i've removed it; wandering through the ice wastes of the north has become a bit of a thrill. I even encountered a cape that boosts my magicka at the bottom of a troll infested cave i would not have come upon with Frostfall's limits to wandering about.

It is during my wandering aimlessly that i encountered an old well next to Windhelm, I thought it would be to refill waterskins, but instead i found this site inside. I've tried 'Followers as Companions' which is extremely nice for making my follower actually keep up with me and stay close but it's buggy as fuck and makes them like, jog sideways and backwards and shit.

I'm currently using EFF which has a teleport but it seems to be manually activated? I'm not sure how to make it work automatically. It also has a feature to adjust distance between followers but not between them and me (That I can find).

What do you guys use as your screen tearing control at 60fps?

I have settled with enb vsync coupled with 3 pre buffered frames forced through my graphics driver. I find it gives me a nice balance between smooth gameplay and low input lag.

I didn't think it'd be ENB, next time I'm there I'll try disabling ENB and see if the mesh reappears.

Might be the house mod but I doubt it. That location (The stables outside Elysium Estates) is the ONLY place it ever happens in my game.

Not him, but I also dont play with frostfall anymore because I find it just sort of gets in the way of exploration most of the time and I'm trying to cut back on script heavy mods in general. When I play with a bunch of survival mods, I spend like 75% of my time playing a completely different game from skyrim, which can be fun for a while but inevitably leads to me not getting much accomplished progressing through questlines and such.

Fumbling through a bunch of menus all the time because my character is cold or tired and I need to set up a camp (which also takes unnecessarily long and has its own series of menus to fumble through in campfire) and needs to eat/drink and I'm low on supplies so I need to go back into town without fast travel, etc.

Just a lot of time spent not really playing the game, y'know?

To add to this, funnily enough I'm using a needs mod and a camping mod currently in Oblivion and not running into the same problem, probably because they're way simpler and more intuitive than their skyrim equivalents. Setting up camp is a one step process with no filler and the eat/drink/sleep component is way more streamlined with me not needing to worry about cooking things with five part recipes and shit all the time, drinking from streams (unrealistic but idgaf) without needing to worry about disease, etc.

To my knowledge there's not really a huge variation between Argonians in the same way though. I've never seen any in-game lore to reflect multiple different subspecies like Khajiit have.
