I'm a little conflicted and could use your guys' help on resolving this. It basically has to do with my decision making on summoning campaigns. Looking through the list of events that went through to Christmas in this period for Japan 2015, here are the servants I really want

>Nero * (want a lot)
>Francis Drake *** (want the most)
>Anne Bonne
>Jack ** (want a lot)

Basically I am not sure how to budget my crystals for this. I know some would say to just save them all up and go for Drake (who I want the most), but my issue with this logic is that I see a reasonably high chance where I do that and still not get her. On the flip side, Nero is a four star and I like her character a lot and hate the Nero Bride design. Atilla is one of my most wanted too.

So would it be best for me to spend all my quartz during the Nero Festival, saveup, and then spend as many as I have to try to get Drake during that summoning campaign?

Also in regards to Anne Bonny, do you just play as the loli in the regular form, and the character we actually want to play as in the bikini form? If so it makes me not so sure I still want them. I like the loli, but I like the main tall lady a lot more and was hoping they just stood next to each other at all times.

To be honest I think spending real money on a game like this is stupid. With say Shadowverse I can justify spending money on card packs because you have a currency that can be used to buy any card you want. Getting duplicates is a good thing because it increases that currency. So there is essentially a guarantee that I can obtain what I want.

With a game like this, you could spend hundreds of dollars during a summoning campaign and still not get the character you want. That's just awful and I can't believe people actually fall for that. There should be some sort of pity system or at least the ability to exchange two or three five stars for a five star you want.

I love Drake's design and really want her, but there is no way I am going to spend eighty bucks and just pray I get her.

First, stats mean a hell of a lot less in F/GO than they do in FEH. Of course you wouldn't mind IVs in F/GO. They'd be irrelevant for half the characters anyways.

Second, I'm sure that if a characters had an IV of "let the boss attack six times a turn whenever this character is on the field" then you would certainly be a lot less inclined to be calling it fine. But that is exactly what getting bad IVs in FEH does to a character. -10% HP or +10% ATK is manageable, whereas getting doubled or losing your ability to double is disastrous. Also, those minor HP and ATK changes matter a lot more in FEH, where the numbers are smaller and you can easily find a matchup dealing 0 damage.

That is a bit of a misconception. The orbs merely cover what is shown, meaning the moment you hit summon, it already chose 5 heroes to pick from, and merely slapped a color orb on them to hide them. If you roll hundreds of times like through rerolling macros on emulator, you'll notice the only color which constantly gets shafted is green, this is because there's a marginal difference in greens and the other 3 colors, so since they have less, they pop up less. That simple really. The only difference is that unlike FGO/GBF/etc you can 'kinda' avoid shit to retain your pity rate.
