Wildfire and Flame shield are the only useful ones. Thermal plating is worthless because you shouldn't be walking into your own fire anyway, fire wall isn't good enough to warrant a minuscule reduction in cool down, and you should always try and use flame core to secure a kill, not for raw damage

Is there any mod or whatever that lets me unlock all titan loadouts in singleplayer?
Best if it also lets you pick multiplayer perks.
I want to play the campaign again (I completed it twice already, once on hard and once on master) but I would like to use either Ronin or Scorch for the entire game.
Same goes for pilot abiltities, I have no idea why the fuck didn't they just add NG+ that lets you pick your entire loadout like in multiplayer, it would make the game so much more fun when replaying it.

The flatline is kind of a special case. At medium to long range you definitely need to ADS and tapfire with it but the real trick is that you need to be on the ground when you use it, as if you're in the air its accuracy is suddenly a whole lot worse. If you're on the ground I don't have problems hipfiring at targets a decent distance away.

X1 here: so I've only used 2 guns since I got this game in march. G12 R97 and G11 carbine; I started off with the carbine and once I got to G10 I got bored and found the R97, used it ever since. What gun should I try next? My next closest gun is a level 12 G2, then it drops to under level 5. Anything I pick up and try to use just feels weak compared to the long range capabilities of the carbine or the perfect accuracy hipfire of the R97.

Because not every gun has a foregrip and its easier to just use the same pose for those that do that you use for the ones that don't. Respawn is lazy. It sorta bugs me that they don't increase accuracy with the foregrip but its not like it affects gameplay any.

are you using a controller or a mouse?

I play with mouse and I find the CAR very strong. It's just one of the best weapons in the game. It's extremely accurate, with decent range, almost no recoil, good magazine size, high rate of fire. As long as someone is in range you can kill them pretty easily, even if you miss a lot of shots.

ADS is fine, I'm sure zooming in will help at the far end of your range, but it doesn't tighten the spread very much. It's very good from the hip.

although 2hu music is not that well suited to metal in my opinion. ZUN's own CDs and the game OSTs are already great. It's rare to find a remix that compares to the originals. But if you like these, you should also try the Koumajou games. They're great and you will like those soundtracks too.

If you're trying to slowly wean off hitscan, try the Spitfire for a little bit, but if you're going cold turkey run Kraber or Double-Take w/ A-Wall. Once you've got the aiming down both can be fucking terrifying

Try the L-STAR. Just as accurate hipfire but since it's projectile we'll think you're slightly less of a cunt for using it. That and it actually has a faster TTK on pilots anyway. Once you've gotten the hang of it, try out the SMR; it's essentially like the L-STAR but a little less accurate and it does damage to Titans.

Oh, and for a healthy mix of long range AND perfect hipfire at some point try out the EPG. Its projectile is slow but it's laser accurate, so if you can lead shots and/or get the high ground it's a good intro weapon for getting yourself acclimated with the grenadier weapons.

So I normally play northstar and do pretty well and have a lot of fun with her, minding your position and springing ambushes ect are all very satisfying. But I'm looking for another titan to learn. I tried ronin but I don't really like it, feels too brain dead and the block lets you play like a retard without being punished which seems like it could develop bad habits. Anyone got any recommendations for a titan to try next?
