I think Omega only used the Spin Jump for Heroes and Shadow's game, and should be taken in the same vein as Big being able to Spin Jump - there but for gameplay reasons alone.

I'd like to think that Archie's portrayal of Omega got him somewhat correct - he's somewhat the comedic foil for Team Dark, given his single-minded approach to most problems (apply bullet until problem goes away), but he's otherwise an extremely dependable member of the team. I always thought of him as perhaps a little slower in terms of movement speed given his bulk, but the firepower he can unleash would more than make up for it. It's a real shame that none of the game media shows him unloading to his fullest extent; it'd certainly be fun to see him engaging in an all-out brawl with something.

It doesn't help that I have a friend who's a shameless Omega fanboy and he'd rip my nuts off if I suggested otherwise.

Omega is a broken piece of shit in 06, but I say that in a good way.
He can hover into his start up hover ad nauseum and never loose height so you can get to a lot of places you aren't supposed to be in with him.
Also his attack moves actually work unlike more than half the cast so he's one of the better parts of the game.

No matter what happens with IDW, I sincerely hope they keep Ian Flynn, and by extension the game characters' expanded and greatly enjoyable characterizations in the comic. Everyone, from Charmy to Silver to Omega was such a treat to read. It's going to suck because I know they can't reuse the shit they've already done like the arcs with Eclipse and the fighters tournament with Honey. Those things would have to be very different.

Hey, everybody. I've got some sorrowing news for you all. For some reason, the imported character models, Shadow, Blaze, Espio, all of them seem to be causing the engine a great deal of problems when attempting to build a standalone EXE in Unity. In short, the Generations character models work great within the editor, but the moment a build is attempted everything goes to shit.

I am so sorry to everyone who was excited for the model swaps, but it looks like I'll be unable to include the character mods in version 4.0. We may end up proceeding with 3.0 as the base and making changes as we see fit from there. Other members have already begun putting 3.0 on GitHub to prepare for the project, so 3.0 might be the final version for now.

If enough people would like me to, I can upload the models and animations that I ripped and you can attempt to implement them yourself if you're daring, but I've been at this for hours and hours trying to get these character mods working and out to you all, but I don't know if Unity is going to play nice with them the way I've been doing it. I might just not have the necessary skills to pay these particular bills.

Personally I think many of the reboot issues live up to their cover hype. They're not exactly grand epics, but they're good reads and I rarely ever felt like "holy shit wow this looked so good"

They were always so mysterious to me as a kid. Sometimes Sonic was kicking ass! But then sometimes he was all anime looking and going to school. What could this strange comic possibly be about?! Mega Collection contained an issue on it but it was one of the early ones where Sonic is just joking around and not really doing anything serious. How could that same Sonic seemingly smash someone's face in in a couple issues later?!

I was fairly young when I bought Mega Collection (10 or 11 years old) and had no idea the comic existed until then. I remember spending hours just looking through the covers and rereading that issue they included and listening to that cozy music. I had no Internet access and had to make up stories for the covers in my mind. Eventually I managed to start a subscription a few years later because a comic store opened near me (they didn't actually have Sonic.

Boy was I confused when my first comic arrived and it was The Slap.

If you're an experienced speedrunner in 180 Emblem% and know exactly what you're doing in order to beat it in one sitting with minimal fuck ups.

I, however, can only put in so many attempts on the hard mode versions of the ARK levels for all character (sans Treasure Hunting, which is the easiest to do on Hard Mode) before I run out of patience. Sorry, my autismo levels are rather low. I can't say I'm upset that I don't have it in me to 100% SAB2 in one sitting, and it wouldn't be a moment of pride if I ever did.

Sonic Adventure 1 DX was fun to 100%, too. I liked fucking around in the adventure fields, too. Twinkle Park in SA1 had the best 'carnival/casino' music of the series. I don't care if its a remix of another zone from another game, it's the best. Fight me

Take any three seasons of Star Trek, play mix and match with the episode order, cast shitty actors for every role, make the actors wear ugly ass full body latex suit with cheap bits glued onto random places + cheap Halloween costume animals ears, and throw in as many apostrophes that you can fit into everyone's name and species name until every speaker of the English language is banging on your door. Take random pictures of ALL of this nonsense, and chop them up for use as comic panels in this abomination of a comic (make sure to throw out all of the actual recorded footage, because you're a comic writer, not a tv show producer, and footage takes up valuable hard drive space). The comics were declining throughout your run and was lifted by putting Shadow in, not your Echidna based stories.
IDW is a severely popular and respected comic publisher who have a reputation for being reliable, not fucking up, and being true to the source material.
You are known for going so off source material it's unreal, and when told to adhere more to the games, you full on made Knuckles Jesus, didn'tcha.
Knuckles as he is today has no influence from you. In fact, from Adventure when they gave him a character he had no influence from your Chosen One chaos energy microawaved by his cancer ridden dad who used his soul touch to get wimmin into bed.

The comics ended up having a niche following, with a small portion of the fanbase still reading it. The fanbase has also shrunk because it's a 26 year old franchise and a lot of people have grown up and the market has changed, so MineCraft and that is the most popular shit. So the comics have gone through the same thing, most fans you had have grown up and don't care about comics. The ones who are truly loyal to you are much fewer than the ones who stuck around with Archie, and are going to be horrifically less than IDW.
