Why do people care so damn much about the damn AI? They can be nice I guess, but just play against pub or whatever. Even if you just want to try your deck you can still do it against a random person. Or in the worst case scenario, open up two clients and LAN against yourself.

Why do people value the AI so?
Now don't get me wrong. An AI can indeed be nice. But how is it anything but an extra? For starters all the AIs are practically always months behind and many formats behind on the meta. Even when simulating meta their always behind in the meta. And no matter if they're even playing meta decks or not, the AI is always far more predictable and stiff in comparison to a real player.
Not to mention that the AI practically always falls apart the moment you give it a deck that doesn't have an explicit AI script tailored to it.
