I hate to say it, but for DPS there isn't one.

The only other thing you can do is roulettes, and maybe FATEs while you wait for your dungeon queue. The PVP nerf hit pretty hard, but it breaks up the monotony.

Hi, /xivg/! How is it going? My Paladin is currently level 33. For me levelling is a bit boring until you hit 50, or at least 40, so I'm a bit slow. I wonder if I should just focus on my RDM and get him to 70, but I wanted to take a bit of a break from it since I really want to tank in dungeons and trials. My RDM is level 64, and today I spent some time clearing Zurvan EX. That was fun. Can I get some second opinions from knowledgeable anons? Plan is to jump into Savage with one of these tank builds.

Top = if DET is good like DPS have been saying
Bottom = if TEN scales well like some endgame raiders have been saying (though I didn't go ham on it)
Middle = both of the above are wrong

My main is the RDM (I started about a month ago) and the PLD is my secondary. I have 2 million gil that I made selling Large Levin Orbs which used to be high priced in my server so I farmed several while getting the pony. I just really enjoy tanking in dungeons even if I'm still not that good at it, and I want to be able to form groups more easily when I want to help my FC, plus I love dungeons in general so instant queues are nice.

Just had a scholar get furiously angry at me as a warrior for removing his shields. I was doing nothing of the sort. Is there a bugged skill interaction that causes shields to cancel? Was in dzmael if it matters.

Lakshmi Ex is very easy for tanks.

Omega normal is super easy since you can ignore most of the mechanics. You'll never get better by only going after easy stuff. Just watch a video and learn tank mechanics before a fight. Contrary to popular belief, most people seem to be fine with helping new people
