I've seen peopel using firesweep bow on her. Together with chip damage skills. Personally I would use firesweep with seal defence and savage blow. Seal defence would lower the enemy's def by 7, with a dancer she'd attack again without needing to worry about damage as she attacks most likely twice again. So my build would be:

C: SB/BoL
SS: +atk
then w/e you want.

While we're on the topic, though, I don't think SI being crazy was their fault. Based off the empty skills slots every character had, they obviously planned it from the start, so they could've taken some precautions. But the problems with SI were mostly the ones from base game, like Blade tomes being too good.

The point being that releasing something doesn't mean you internally thought of everything possible. They probably did not understand that 3 movement would be extremely valuable within such restricted maps. They probably did not understand that speed would be such an important stat. Don't forget the way arena scoring worked at the time completely fucked over Reinhardt for that mode, and a lot of what makes him so broken didn't exist at the time either (i.e. easy access to good cavalry buffs, since you had to run Gunter for Hone Cavalry and the only unit with Spur Cavalry was Reinhardt himself, and he had much less power behind him due to the lack of an A passive or a good special)

He was still the best or second best blue mage at the time, but there was a massive cost to using him.

How do we make speed not the most broken stat in fire emblem? I suggest that speed no longer affects dodge rate and is instead tied to your skill. Or maybe something like the second strike of your attack is halved in damage.

We eliminate the doubling mechanic.

It's pretty much the only reason why Spd is a God-tier skill. Other options include turning doubling into a skill on it's own, or having a variety of skills that can cause a doubling effect. We already have Quick Riposte for example, it shouldn't be that big a lead of logic to turn vantage into the opposite version of it, then come up with a couple more flavors of the skill for other units.

See, that's why I think IS is mentally deficient. High move on cavalry has always been extremely valuable, especially when cavs don't have significant stat differences from infantry units. Spd has always been the most important stat, since it allows you to deal double damage and avoid taking double damage. They've done more or less the same mechanics for fourteen games before Heroes. If they haven't learned by now, the designers can't be that bright.

I really doubt that, considering Training Tower units had SI. So they should have put some thought into it, if only to make sure TT didn't turn insane. And hell, if they didn't plan SI from the start and just came up with it on a whim, that makes IS seem even more dumb to me.
